Wonderful location. The breakfast (which is not included in the room price) offered a large variety of foods. Best breakfast of our entire trip.

Excellent location in centre of city using old cathedral buildings. Free parking. Plenty of choice for breakfast.

Amazing old monastery building set right in the heart of the old town, minutes from the beautiful Chartres Cathedral and excellent restaurants. beautiful view across the city.

Very basic-like a hostel-but ok for a one night stay.

Second stay at this special hotel. Clean and comfortable, staff friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast. The location is just stunning. Right next to the cathedral right in the centre of the Old Town.

Driving map supplied by hotel shows yellow and red routes. Unfortunately took the yellow route which ended in roadworks and dead end. Took ages and much frustration after a long drive to retrace our steps and take the red route. Hotel need to issue corect map as clearly the roadworks etc have been going on a long time. Bathroom very cramped. Shower tight and head not adjustable due to defect but ok for one night.

Location OK.

Breakfast was uninspiring. No lift and I was on 4th floor.

I didn’t have the breakfast but it was a beautiful, well appointed place and the staff very attentive and kind. Especially Finnigan who went above and beyond.

Tea kettle in room would have been nice but other than that - excellent.

The Hotellerie is perfectly situated for a visit to the Cathedral and the old town. It is exceptional value for money if you are prepared for a basic, no frills but perfectly comfortable, room. Private bath, TV, internet.

The breakfast could be improved upon. Service was warmhearted and friendly in a nice room but the food on offer was simple--no hot dishes, just hard boiled egga, two types of cereal, apple sauce, a bit of fresh fruitm, one kind of sliced cheese and two types of cold meat. NOTE: The reception is closed noon-3pm which was a bit of a surprise. No check in before 3pm means no check in before 3pm.

This hotel is in a lovely location next to the cathedral. The rooms are simply furnished but adequate. There is no tv unless you book a room with a tv. The double bed is simply 2 singles pushed together. Breakfast is always good. There has always been parking available when we have stayed.. Access to the hotel is a bit tricky. You have to pass by a bollard and request access and then the bollard will drop down. We arrived about 8 in the evening but this was not a problem having pre-warned the hotel. The wifi is good. Great restaurants available nearby.

The most awkward thing is actually getting to the hotel. A satnav will take you to the bottom of a long flight of stairs. the trick is to heed the directions that the hotel gives you.

The hotel is in an amazing old building so close to the cathedral which was what we really wanted to see. There was an amazing Christmas light show i the evening which was well worth seeing.

On reflection I would have upgraded to a higher spec room but that was my choice, no reflection on the hotel at all.

Excellent location, walking distance to the cathedral and many great restaurants! The girl at the front desk was very helpful, would definitely stay again
