Best hotel in Dar Es Salaam for the money, great value and I will be back

Everything. Beach beds outside to enjoy the Indian Ocean views, paddle boarding, Abdallah was a great guide. The food was incredible, and the live music at dinner was a nice touch

Excellent stay and good value for money.

The room, location and facilities were excellent. The staff was helpful and approached us with a smile. The food offered by the restaurant is varied, fresh and tasty. The hotel has a private beach and a swimming pool, both a bonus to the great location. A shuttle is available to the guests for free trips around Masaki.

The wifi was unstable although the Internet was of good speed when we were in good wifi coverage.

A very quiet, relaxing hotel in an awesome area of Dar es Salaam

This is already the second time we stayed at this hotel. It is hard to pinpoint what exactly it is that makes this hotel such a great experience. The breakfast and food are ok, but not special. But the friendly staff, personal touch, location: all of it makes this a very charming place, the right place to spend a few days to relax. We also like the fact that this is a very quiet place, they trun off all noise at 11pm. The area offers a plethora of really great restaurants and cafes.

the plastic seat cushions on all outdoor seating... it sticks to your skin and is very hot in the sun.

very welcomming and friendly receptionist and Security. access to small Beach area and Ocean was value for me to cool off in the heat. location was good aswell.

some of the waiters was a little bit too approaching for my taste. they ask directly for tips which is not convenient when you want to chill arround. my room did had a nice view, But was missing a balcony.

Hotel premises very clean, super friendly and helpful staff, delicious food from the restaurant, chilled vibe, perfect for work or pleasure. Spacious rooms with a great view, thoroughly enjoyed the Junior Suite :-). loved the perk of getting free transport in/around Masaki /Oysterbay area

My stay was superb! just a proposal - look at enhancing breakfast options, though the breakfast chef's great!

We were pleasantly surprised by how lovely and clean the hotel was. We were met with smiles and enthusiasm upon checking in. The room was smaller than expected but still very nice and very clean and with a nice view. We requested to be moved to the next room as it had a nicer view and they made that happen for us. We made a number of requests on our first night and the hotel met each and every one of them. The food in the restaurant is delicious and breakfast is also very good. They have a complimentary shuttle which is nice and a nice and clean gym. It also has a nice beach but it’s not your typical beachfront property- if you’re expecting to roll out of bed and be able to relax on the beach and swim in the water this isn’t the place.There’s lots of restaurants and shops nearby that the complimentary shuttle can take you to. We moved into a new room 24 hours after checking in and this is when things started going downhill… It should be noted that Maureen, Lulu and Said are very nice, and should we recognized for their professionalism and excellent guest service. Carrine was also very helpful.

There was no hot water and when we we asked for assistance, we were given condescending lectures about how to work a faucet, 48 hours went by and still no hot water… I would also highly recommend that further training be given in regards to professionalism and guest service, as a few of the staff were extremely disrespectful to us on a number of occasions and even overly familiar- but perhaps this is because we are African women. This shouldn’t be the case as we are paying guests and should be afforded the same respect and professionalism as any guest staying at the hotel. It’s a nice a hotel but guest relations could definitely be improved on, I mean In-room dining tried to charge us for ice a couple times, and even forgot to bring us ice when we requested.
