Delightful in every way

Eleni was there to greet us with a beautiful tray of cool fresh juice, iced water and biscuits, served on our lovely balcony. The apartment was a super base only a few minutes away from the beach and all amenities. It was clean, comfy and cool, set in gorgeous surroundings and with a great view of the sea, olive groves and mountains. We will most certainly go back! Katelios is unspoilt, small and simple with great little restaurants along the beach and friendly locals.

Exceptional

From our arrival, Eleni was very friendly, helpful and above all the perfect host. The apartment was pristine and very comfortable, with everything we needed. It had a beautiful view of Katelios Bay and beyond to Zante. It was a short walk into the village and to the beach, with lots of nice small tavernas, cafes and bars along the seafront. Everyone we met on this Island was very friendly indeed. We would definitely not hesitate to stay at Eleni's studios again, should we return to this beautiful island.

Quiet, spotless clean and spacious room, magnificent view from big balcony.... Eleni is such a wonderful person and host, she made this holiday special for us....

Lovely apartments, recommended

Lovely apartments and very professional and friendly host. Aircon included. Nice balcony and kitchenette.

The apartments got a bit hot despite aircon (min 27 C). Small bathroom. Good to know: Our studio suited a couple but got a bit cramped if you travel with a child.

Beautiful setting with the loveliest of hosts.

The host Eleni was lovely and beyond helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was spacious and clean in a really peaceful countryside location but only a 5 minute walk to the beach and tavernas. We've stayed in many rooms in Katelios and this is now our favourite.

Couldn't find fault with anything at all!

Very relaxing and comfortable

Location was great - very quiet and only a short walk into the village. The owner was wonderful - very friendly and helpful, and often provided fruit from her garden or baked goods she had made - all lovely.

A perfect, relaxing holiday

A beautiful rural, quiet location but only a short walk to the beach and tavernas. Eleni was a perfect host, we received freshly cooked honey and cinnamon pastries and orange juice upon arrival. She also cooked us a lovely lunch one day. The balcony was really big with an excellent size table. Very quiet location. Eleni also organised for a local doctor to do our return covid tests on our balcony !

The only thing we can think of is that there was no plug for the bathroom sink. A very minor thing !

Wonderful, happy and a brilliant place to stay

Superb

Location was quietly situated out of the centre but still conveniently near to beach, shops and restaurants. Eleni and her husband were very welcoming, with a.o. fresh fruit from the garden.

Superb

Host was extremely helpful and friendly, helping me book a taxi and made me Greek pancakes. The room was very nice. From previous trips to Greece I was expecting a few mosquito bites but was pleasantly surprised to have none! The host also let me keep the room for the day as I had a late return flight :)

Just short of perfect.

Eleni could not have been more welcoming or more helpful!

Internet only worked 1 day our of seven. Eleni made me pancakes by way of an apology - and very nice they were too! I was badly bitten by mosquitos within the room despite having a citronella plug!

A lovely holiday

The place is wonderful. Big terrace with wonderful sea view, the garden is very nice too. There is enough parking space. Eleni is very pleasant host - we arrived very late in the night, around 2:30 am and she was waiting for us in front of the property. Although the breakfast was not included in the price, she prepared breakfast for us from time to time and brought it into our room - very nice. In the last day of our stay she prepared a special 'Eleni's salad' for us. Thank you, Eleni, for making our stay so good! There are many restaurants not far from the property and some shops too.

The only thing that could be done in order to make the stay even better, is a mosquito net to the terrace.
