Location was near enough to old town
From the minute we arrived it was a horrendous experience! The hotel has split into two separate hotels due to a fight amongst management. The side we were in has no reception (the side with reception has smashed windows and no electricity! They allowed us to use the toilet with a torch!!!! ). No way to contact reception, no where to leave luggage, finally contacted someone from an emergency number on the wall. Relayed how disappointed we were with the place, said they would come at 4pm and we could talk then. We landed at 09.30 that morning. A woman arrived at 4.15pm, there was other people also waiting to check in she disappeared with one of them and we had to follow her around to check in. Eventually got checked in outside by the pool at a table! Apartments have air con. Shower was blocked you had to wait about 15 mins for the water to drain before next person can shower. No towels or bedsheets changed in the week we were there. Ants in the room. The pool hadn't been cleaned in a long time, the water was green and there was green scum all along the walls. We didn't go in at all. I had to ring to ask what do we do with the key for the apartment when we were leaving as no instructions given and no reception to give it to. An awful experience from start to finish!! The area in very hilly and alot of steps so wouldn't be suitable for some.

the property is set in lovely grounds and was clean
it very sad it’s not age or disability friendly . so if you have any walking issues I would avoid . no wifi only at the pool . no emergency information . 4.30 check is bad . no bus or train information only expensive taxi

Board only. Breakfast not included.
Accommodation too far away from beach and town centre. Climbing the steep hills was exhausting. Staff should have offered to carry us and our luggage to the apartment when we first arrived. The lighting on the stairs in Block 10A is not working. Please ensure the lights on the stairs are working properly before somebody gets injured. Jardim should have a small Supermarket because the nearest one is too far away.

I loved the place but the walk and location of the apartment at the far end of the complex was very difficult with a 18month old and a pregnant person.

The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The bed are comfy and the air con was good. The pool area with the bar and restaurant right next to it was fantastic. It is only a ten minute walk down to the heart of the old town with lots of bars and restaurants along the way. Its about an hour on foot from the strip however an uber takes about 7 minutes and was only about €5. Very good value for money.
The property is literally at the top of a massive hill. It is a canter down to the old town however it is a shift to get back up to the property. Best to avoid here if you have any mobility issues. My wife and I are both fit and found it challenging particularly late at night after a few drinks. Taxis/ubers can take you right to the top but the old town is difficult to source a taxi. My wife and I arrived at 11am however were told our room would not be ready till 4:30pm. A but frustrating as I enquired about early check in and never heard back. Room was ready for 3:30pm and we were able to use the pool in the meantime so not really a big deal. The property appears to have longer term tenants as it is a huge site. My wife and I were on a landing with a family who seemed to let their kids run amok, screaming in the landing very late at night, banging doors, getting food all over the banisters in the stair well and chapping residents doors. Our neighbours also found it a good time in the early hours to hoover and mop the floor landing. A bit frustrating but really did enjoy my stay.

Lovely pool area and plenty of space around it , Rooms were clean and spacious, pizzas at the pool bar were delicious
Could have done with more towels in the room and bigger towels . No shop on site which I think is needed as there's only a pool bar open certain hours

Great pool with cafe / bar serving drinks and cocktails. Pools were a great size with lots of sun loungers and parasols. Room was good size, it was clean and modern. Can't expect 5* for the price, for what we paid it was great.
Our room had a terrace with a big tree in front of it so we never got any sunlight on it. Terrace looked a bit run down with old chairs and tables.

Nice big room with a very big balcony, decent sized bathroom n shower, was clean, decent shower. kitchen has just enough to get by. Staff were friendly, great views and a clean area to look around. Late checkout at 11am , pool area was fantastic, big, plenty of space, good selection of bar drinks but didn't actually eat there.
Very dated interior, no sponge/brush to wash up, no toaster, no aircon, no fan, no colander to rinse salad etc for food, no dish drainer so not that well equipped for sale catering but we ate out pretty much every meal anyway. No room service during the 7 night stay. Pillows were just stuffed full of loose foam. Bath was stained.

Parking was free and convenient right outside the building door. The location to Old Town and the beach was great and walkable. The staff was friendly.Air conditioner worked well. The pool area looked great and lots of families were enjoying it.
TV in the room didn't work day one and was replaced day 2; shower was completely broken and inoperable until day 2. I didn't use the shower day one since I had just come from another hotel where I had showered so didn't know it was broken until day 2 but it was surprising that housekeeping wouldn't have noticed that the the shower hose was completely ripped in half. They repaired it that afternoon but I was told their maintenance crew was at another site and and wouldn't be readily available so I had to go about my day without a shower. They have 10 PM to 10 AM quiet hours but 2 floors above me a rowdy group of young people returned from the bars at 4 AM and were boisterous and loud slamming doors arguing on the balcony et cetera. I'm sure I wasn't the only guest awakened by them. Tennis courts seem to be under repair or at least unusable. The facilities need attention and maintenance and the restaurant (or at least snack bar) during high season should be open past 7 in the evening. It's a huge complex and I think the management is in over its head.

Nothing- worst use of money i've ever spent in my life!
This stay was one big mistake!
When I arrived to the hotel, my room was not clean. I had to wait and hour in the sun with my suitcase for them to clean it!
After that I wanted a little evening walk, but the key card to the hotel room did not worked! I tried with the key, and the key didnt worked either!
Then I had the reception to take a look at it, and truly, the door could not lock. They told me to just use the key, but then they figured out they gave me the wrong key!
I had to spend the evening in the hotel room, waiting for the maintenance to fix the door, witch was not fixed, cause the Morning after, it was not possible to lock the door again.
Besides that, I had to call for the reception 3 times to help me getting rid of all the disgusting barathas they had crawling around in the room. They kept saying that I should just close the door, and that it is just me. But they came Up from the pipes! When I went to the bathroom in the middel of the night, I Called for help again because of the barathas, and I waited for them around 30 minutes. After that when I finally felt asleep, a Stranger phone calls in my room. I got scared and it turned out the girl from the reception forgot it in my room, and I waited for her about 20 minutes to come back and pick it up. I had planned 11 nights here and I left after the first night. It was just to much for me!! The employees told me that I should not worry, because they always give the refund. The hotel manager Paul, Also said that of cause we had to talk about the refund. When I came to the reception, the manager was not available. And I kept saying that I wanted Them to right to me that I could get a refund, and they kept saying that of cause I would get a refund, but that I had to send and email with my situation first. After I went back to my home country the Day after, I have tried to reach out to them, and called Them every Day, and email them All the time, and the manager Paul was always 'not available'.

The location was great , not far from the beach, and old town .I discovered we were just a short walking distance to the marina also ,, it was the 2nd time we stayed here , the 1st time we had a lovely appartment in block A, the only thing I didnt like this time round was how far away my appartment was situated away from the pool. All the steps once u leave your appartment you would want to be quiet fit not suffering with a bad leg or ankle for those steps ahead of u ,, we made sure once we left the apartment there was no turning back with the 100s of steps involved . THE POOL AREA WAS SUPERB WITH A LOVELY VIEW OF THE SEA .
Looking forward to seen what improvements they make b4 our stay next year .
All the steps to the appartment blocks in the c 10 plus d 10 _d12 area
And of course the fact I'd No wifi available in my appartment lucky I had some at the pool area tho

Great pool area and bar, apartment great, location near enough yet far enough away from Old Town. Couldn't really fault it. A bit on the hilly side so walk down to the nightlife past the local bars and Uber back. Don't read too much into the reviews on Trip Advisor....they don't do it justice
