The room was clean and comfortable.
Breakfast superb
A mini bar with nothing in it however ( not even water). As a Brit a kettle in the room would have been welcome .
A bar in the evening to have a drink on the roof terrace was a disappointing failure.

Nice staff, pleasant breakfast on pretty rooftop.
Room was tiny but we did have basic twin room. The big problem was that the beds were terrible. Worst mattress I had in 5 weeks of travel. They felt like box springs instead of mattresses. I used two thick blankets in the closet to pad the mattresses. We didn’t say anything at the time as we figured they wouldn’t be able to change the mattresses while we were there but I did tell management about the problem afterwards so hopefully they have replaced them.

A lovely Art Deco building, same as the famous Coliseum theatre of Porto, hence the themed rooms. Ideally located near the Bolhao market & the shopping streets... Super nice & helpful staff. And a nice rooftop to have a quiet break with a view!
The beds mattresses are not excellent, but the linen is clean and comfy.
Breakfast could be a little richer ...

Very good localisation, walking distance to major places, super helpful and friendly staff at the reception and at breakfast, nice balcony on top floor with beatuifull views
The room was very very small and it was very noisy from the street but the reception offers free ear sticts, it was very hot in the room as the air conditioning did not work, but thanks to friendly staff it was not a huge problem

Horrible noise from the bar opposite

Breakfast was good and the location fabulous!

It's a small hotel but it has everything you may need. Super conveniently located, very close to the main shopping street and 5' from the center on foot. The room had a kettle. Staff were really nice and accommodating, they even let us check in early.
Despite being on the top floor, every night/early morning we heard the noise from people coming out of a disco further down the street. If you stay here make sure to bring your earplugs to avoid that.

Staff at reception very polite and helpful.
Location (especially for visiting the old city centre) was ideal.
Breakfast was satisfactory.
Room was kept clean and tidy
Room rather poky ; limited space to move around.
glass door of the shower should be opaque and not partly see through!
noisy environment outside the hotel during early hours of the morning during the weekend

The man on reception was incredibly helpful and welcoming and the hotel location was ideal.
The breakfast was not that good. The two members of staff who were behind the bar made us feel very unwelcome, stared at us without offering help or guidance when we arrived and appeared to be speaking under their breath about us. We asked if we could eat outside as it was very oppressive and unwelcoming inside but they offered no help to move us. All the family felt very uneasy about this and hence did not enjoy the experience. Small thing, the orange juice was not fruit juice but a watery liquid with only water offered as the alternative.

Nothing. It was indeed well located.
I booked a double bed room. Never got a message saying it was not possible. It should be more clear, if it was not possible wouldn't have booked it. They said it was upper floors. It wasn't. Had on booking saying it was with city views. It was of a building under construction. amenities? Just a soap. The mattress (both unfortunately twin beds, instead of double as solicited) very uncomfortable. They said they had mini fridge in the rooms. Yes, but not working and dirty.

A wonderful sized suite. We initially booked for 3 nights but needed to extend for an additional night due to the fact that we were waiting for our luggage to arrive from the airport. Even though the hotel was practically full for the final night and all that was available was a much smaller room -the wonderful reception staff were able to work their magic & extend our stay in the same room.
All the staff were wonderful & breakfast on the rooftop was included which was a bonus.
I chose the hotel because of the location & price & was not disappointed.
The only thing I can fault would be the fact that there weren't any basic toiletries supplied apart from soap & shampoo.
We arrived very late at night without our bags which hadn't arrived with us on the flight from London & we didn't even have a toothbrush. Some basic supplies including a comb would have been a nice touch as is standard in other hotels around the world.

Nothing!Everything went perfect!

location excellent. Staff very helpful indeed.
Seemed not to want to provide milk for the tea/coffee. Also, experienced outside noise on 3/5 nights due to youngsters partying. Our roon on the 5th floor was directly opposite a club of some kind. Lower floors/rooms on other side probably missed it. Then on the Monday - another club opened next door. Noise from the hubbab at midnight waiting to get in and again at 6.oo am when the club closed.

very friendly staff, good breakfast, espresso from Nespresso
Strangely designed rooms, transparent glass doors to the bathroom and toilet. Windows to the night club/disco street. The room was very noisy. If you don't mind a disco under the windows and the view of your partner in the shower, then this is a good hotel for you for good money

The staff was great. The room was very cosy and clean. Location was amazing. Breakfast was OK.
There was just the problem of the noise on the street. Since the location is very central there is noise during all night. If someones comes with the idea of having a good night sleep, that´s not going to happen :)

The location is awesome, in the old town, not so far from the metro station and shopping center with the food court. Very nice staff. Tea/coffee is in the room. Our room has both: shower and bathroom (like in SPA). Room was very clean and spacious.
The night club next door. OMG. A couple of nights it was impossoble to sleep. It was so loud all the night till the late morning. The bed is very uncomfortable. It has very old matress with hard protruding springs that you'll feel by your back during sleeping. Pillows are thin and a bit smell. The breakfast. I wouldn't call it breakfast. Just a cup of coffee, if you lucky, you'll have croissant. No vegetables, could you imagine that?
Sinks faucets have nozzles that sprayed water outside the sink.

It was quite loud at night

Breakfast was basic, but good. Nice bathroom, allthough they did forget to replenish the toiletpaper.
When I left very early in the morning, there was supposed to be someone to get me a taxi, unfortunately there was nobody at the reception.

Great location, very clean, great bed, nicely decorated room.
Wifi is a disaster; it has a different connection for each room and most of the time my mobile phone and also my laptop could not pick up the signal for my room (often only the signal for neighbouring rooms or even the room below mine but then logically the password did not match with that of my room....). Sometimes my mobile phone picked up both, but for my laptop the password never once matched during the whole five days of my stay.
The breakfast room is very small, I was turned away twice (and asked to come back later) because all tables were full. Since the weather was rainy, the outside terrace was not an option. Annoying, if work appointments are waiting. The breakfast buffet itself is rather poor: tasteless and dry breadrolls, very cheap ham and cheese, most items pre-packed disposable stuff like very cheap jam etc. Same for the chemical orange juice. Better quality breadrolls, nice pasteles etc were mostly finished early, and not reloaded. The espresso is great.
