What was not to like?! This place was THE BEST hotel I’ve ever stayed at! Beautiful and comfy!
Not one thing
Everything was super and they thought of everything!

Excellent staff and facilities to boot. You can’t go wrong.
Everything is top notch.
8.0
Huge comfortable bed.
Welcoming staff
Quirky design
The adjustable lighting in the room
The self check in was a bit of a faff - especially when you have staff stood watching you try to sort it yourself - seemed a bit pointless really.

I love the friendly reception to assist with self check in. The bed is super comfortable, good selection of entertainment and rain shower head option is awesome. Coffee and croissant from the canteen was lovely. I love this place and will be back.

Easy checki-in and check out, location, smart room, comfortable bed
A persistent deep noise likely coming from a generator, not very intense but could be a nuisance for sleep. This was on the 5th floor where I stayed (maybe on other floors it is less intense)

Very modern facility. My kids loved it. Very close to market and bridges

Be ready that you will live not in a room, but in a wardrobe. The room is tiny. No way 2 people can fit in there.

location was very good.
I really didn't like the electronics in the room. I Could not operate the TV as I didn't know the whole room was controlled by the iPad at the bedside. i didn't like the shower and toilet pod and felt I was being sterilized by the neon light, which I didn't know I could change. Didn't find the outer blind until morning so spent the night mostly awake. Having a sink in the room just didn't feel right. I think you got this decor wrong. I also didn't like being referred to as Citizen Ian. It was like something out of 1984.

Very friendly staff, great breakfast, nice 'living room'. Rooms are small but cleverly layed out. Stayed in this and other hotels of this chain quite a few times and will for sure come back.
It's not cheap so the "affordable luxury" claim is not really true.

I’m a fan of Citizen M. Always clean and the bed is always fabulous. Super comfy with a seriously weighty duvet and pillows. Great breakfast but if you have allergies no option for a fried egg only scrambled egg and streaky bacon?! Why not just normal chubby bacon rashers. No one wants to faff around with streaky bacon
Only two pillows. If not travelling solo u expect four pillows. Also as fabulous as the concept and rooms are not having a kettle in the room for a cuppa in the morning is just poor! Nothing beats a cuppa first thing. Also controlling all aspects from an ipad is great until the iPad app doesn’t work! Thankfully resolved by downloading the app to my phone but it still felt like a bit of a faff when any other hotel u could turn the tv off with a normal remote control!

stylish and friendly
not much, faulty hairdryer but quickly
replaced.

The room was well laid out, and technology enabled / smart which made all processes centralised so I could control temperature, media, lighting etc from one source. When travelling for work and after a long flight this made everything much easier for me. The bed was super king and very comfortable, and I knew the location from being based in London before relocating abroad - it's central with transport links and many amenities nearby.
The only thing lacking was a fitness centre or gym but this really is my only and very minor complaint. The team were incredibly friendly and I'd absolutely stay at a CitizenM when travelling in future.
