Very Nice hotel and staff. Quiet area. Clean and cozy apartment. Awesome pool and garden area.
The road from the bus til the hotel is steep but only takes 5-10 minutes. The bus runs frequently so it is okay.

A truly beautiful place! We were given a spacious studio apartment with terrace and access to the swimming pool. Maria was a welcoming host and we were grateful for the complimentary bottle of wine. At times we had the pool to ourselves and the environment was peaceful. The gardens were a pleasure to wander in.
As other reviews will testify, the property is up a steep and windy hill. However there are regular buses which take you all over the island from the bottom of this hill. We felt there could have been some basic food and drink items in our kitchen when we arrived. Fresh sheets and towels were left outside during our stay but there were no replacement toiletries provided and no room cleaning occurred.

The view is fantastic, and a very peaceful location. The kitchen is well equipped with different tools, and the room is very comfortable
A few small changes would make a big difference: having salt, pepper and oil in the room, a welcome booklet with information and suggestions for nearby activities, etc

Its close to Forio but I really recommend that you in first choose another property but if you are going to stay here its much better my car. Moove by taxi or bus its hard because the place it stays on a long way high street.
Doesn’t have breakfast. That was disappointing because the pictures shows a beautiful and gorgeous breakfast but the truth is a miserable croissant 1,5€ unit and a coffe 1,5€ unit. The towels is from the low quality that I ever saw in my life. I don’t know even If we can call it a towel. The bed for 2 people was 2 single mattress, bad bad bad. And the stuff really doesn’t make nothing to make out stay better. I really recommend that you try another property instead of this one.

I absolutely enjoyed my time here, I loved the peaceful atmosphere in the Nature between the olives and orange trees. Beautifully decorated and top attention to the details. The cleaning was great. Stefania, the house keeping, was making sure that the place was always spot on. She definitely did a great job.
Maria was always very kind and helpful, we had a wonderful time at Residance San Domenico. I definitely recommend it for people that enjoys peaceful magic moments away from the noise, and doesn't mind a little walk to reach the center.

Our room was nice, and had a fridge and kitchen. Maria was lovely checking us in, and helped us get a take away on our first night when we couldn’t book a restaurant. The outside was gorgeous, with a pool and amazing views.
We booked here as it is near Poseidon but unfortunately this is shut until 2021. We went to Negombo which was great, but more effort to get to. I found the bus routes confusing as they aren’t on Google Maps and we weren’t sure where to get bus tickets from.
We stayed in a few places around Italy and compared to the others, there wasn’t much communication before staying. My 3 messages via booking.com were not responded to. I ended up calling the number on Google and being asked to find their email address online which was fine and once I did this, had the information required but it would be nice to have a reply via booking.com.
Ordinarily I don’t mind about not having information before, but I had questions regarding whether getting to Ischia was still okay and what it was like there during covid, so it would have been good to have this information beforehand.
It also would have been good to have air con too but it does say there isn’t any on here.
We weren’t able to have breakfast due to covid and this wasn’t communicated before arrival so this was a bit difficult, as there aren’t close by shops.

Wonderful place, with georgeous views on mountains. We really enjoyed the hilltop views, the lush garden and the clean air. The rooms are clean and well equipped, dispose with a nice terrace. The swimming pool is very nice. Our stay was a perfect contrast to the mainland and gave us plenty of space for our children to explore, swim and rest. The our host had thought of everything to make shopping and transport easy.Maria, the owner of the villa is very helpful and friendly. Steep uphill road from the main street of Forio. You just need to consider this if you do not want to go up. But this cannot be changed. This is the landscape of Ischia ... In total great location and wonderful hosts.

It was our second stay at the residence. Still great, Maria and her daughter are adorable, the garden is so green and the pool is sparkling clean!
