Fantastic bed & breakfast, very friendly and immaculate rooms. Breakfast was superb and hot. A lot of variety. Walking distance to town centre. Would definitely return.

Lovely warm welcome. Useful local recommendations board in hall. Room spotless. Nice carpet and bedding. Chocolate biscuits and variety of teas/coffee with fresh milk available on request. Teapot provided nice touch. Warm and comfortable beds. Useful shelves in bathroom and plenty towel rail space for both our towels. Toiletries and liquid soap provided as well as hand sanitiser and fluffy towels. Glass topped surfaces to protect wooden furniture in room, easily cleaned. Magnifying mirror on dressing table much appreciated. Room serviced during our 2 night stay although had we known we would have preferred to have opted out as we have been doing during Covid. Local produce breakfast, very nice. Plenty choice and very decent portion for full breakfast. Fresh flowers on tables nice touch as well as Easter decorations. Central location. Parking for 3/4 out front. We would stay here again and also recommend it. Thank you.

Improvements aren't always possible but I hope suggestions are welcome. Narrow parking spaces but appreciated nonetheless. I had to climb out passenger door to fit my tiny car in against a wall. Perhaps 3 defined spaces rather than 4 would be better. Small room with only one bedside table for our two beds. Narrow shelves above headboards which made sitting on bed uncomfortable. Easy chair in place of second bedside table rather uncomfortable. Second bedside table would be more appropriate in my opinion.One shelf above radiator which I used for my cup and saucer not level. I had to charge my phone using sockets inside the wardrobe. Water pressure in shower adequate. Bathroom decor and shower curtain dated. Small tv but fine for us. Thumping floor noise from upstairs guests with children unfortunate. No bin liners in bins but sanitary bags available. Perhaps eco reasons in which case admirable. I just didn't like putting wet teabags etc in an unlined bin. Breakfast plates rather small for the full breakfast and beans overcooked. Dead flowers on table next to ours on second morning obviously just an oversight. Very small butter portions but more available on request as was jam. We had one seeded white triangle of toast in with our 3 brown ones on second morning which was unexpected but eaten anyway. Self serve yoghurt and compote bowls almost finished that morning and although I've no doubt more would have been provided we didn't like to ask having already asked for more butter, jam etc Maybe keep them topped up a little more 🙂

Owner very friendly and helpful. Location was perfect for our needs. Unfortunately we were in Scotland for a very dear friends funeral, but the hotel was just what we needed to make the sad occasion a little easier.

The hotel was perfect we were met by the owner & taken up to our room which was spotless , nice comfy bed tea & coffee facility within room a very good breakfast with a wide variety of choice in the morning location of the hotel is fab close to town centre we will definitely be back all in all it was a great place to stay and great value for money .

Location was excellent as we were close to all amenities leaving the car safely parked during our stay. Room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean.
