Small Gem Outside Crowd

The property is well-located in a quiet neighborhood outside the bustle of the tourist area but close enough to walk to everything within 10 minutes. The QUEEN sized bed was HEAVEN, and hard to find in Colombia. The room had a beautiful view of the mountains and a patio with a table and chairs for outside dining. The shower was large and hot. The staff was helpful and friendly. There is a patacon restaurant located across the street and we ate there daily. Power is available near the bed for charging electronics. Breakfast was good. It included eggs, toast or arrepa, fruit and cheese, coffee/tea/cocoa/milk, no juice, and you scheduled your delivery time daily.

Internet was super unstable, not good enough to stream videos or participate in a Zoom meeting. There are supposed to be 3 networks on the property and we only ever saw one. (We read that internert instability is a Salento-wide issue, so not sure if this is the property or just a Salento thing). Kitchen electricity did not work and fridge wasn't cold. They do provide you with a stove top and small kettle so we didn't need the electricity in the kitchen. Coffee at breakfast could have been hotter.

Breakfast should be offered erlier than 8:30. Most of the tourist want to go to Cocora as early as possible, so early breakfast is a must.

The balcony and the view were very beautiful. The small kitchen included was great in case you want to stay several days. Very clean and the bed was confortable.

The shower temperature was not working properly. We would recommend to have more options for breakfast, that was the reason we decided not to eat it in the hotel. That would have been a plus

Great place close to city center

Nice , comfortable cabin style rooms close to town center. Gated property, quite area close to SALENTO city center. Service was great all around, all the employees were very welcoming and helpful.

located away from the center, so good if you like silence.

we stayed in cabin 4, which had a thick uncomfortable smell of floor/wood oil. the pillows did not have covers, which we found uncomfortable, and in general everything was very minimal; don’t expect anything extra.

Tranquil hut

Lots of space, stylish little hut, tucked a bit further away from the town - which is why we chose it - but still only 5 min walk to main plaza

I wish kitchen was slightly better equipped and that there was a way to enter the property without waiting for someone to open the gate for you

lovely, warm, clean and quaint

the property is lovely - nestled in salento with a beautiful view of the mountains the birds chirping, breakfast delivered to you daily and served on the balcony the whole group was very pleased ! lovely warm showers, very comfortable beds and additional blankets for heating

the only issue is that the villas are on a steep decline from the street so fit some of our group it was hard to walk down but other than that no complaints

Salento in comfort

Confortable, spacious and a lovely view over the town and hills. Highly recommended!

Some noise from the nearby bus station on the weekend from tourist buses.

Incredible experience!! Rooms are quiet with great views. Staff was really helpful, they helped us organize our stay and recommended some great paces to visit and eat. Breakfast was totally worth it. Highly recommended.

Excellent stay

The place was beautiful, with a nice view, will illuminated, and with a comfortable bed.

Sometimes the gardener was suddenly appearing on the window to prune the plants, and I like a little more privacy. But at least it means they are taking care of the place. The garden was pretty nice though.

Architectural bungalows, exclusive and cheap for what it is. Great view over town and mountains, super people, breakfast… top. Quick walk to center. Thanks for all !

Sunny terrasse with view !

Terrasse with great view, sunny in the morning, perfect to enjoy the very good breakfast and do some yoga! Spacious and luminous room with small kitchen, nice shower. Powerful wifi, nice hosts. Ideal for family of 4. Bars and restaurants easily accessible within a few minutes walk.

A few more towel racks would be great

Comfortable lodging with beautiful deck overlooking the town.

Very secure in a quiet part of town. Nice deck with beautiful view of town. It had extra blankets for warmth and a wonderful shower. Friendly staff….gave us coffee when we first arrived!

Everything about my stay was perfect except for the refrigerator problem which did not allow us to store food, have cold drinks, or cook. While the wifi was not stable, it did allow you to do basic tasks like checking email.

The refrigerator was broken and after alerting management, it never was repaired. The wifi was also not good.
