Amazing. Loved it

The tents are amazing. You enter a paradise and they have an eye for details. Restaurant accomodation also astonishing. Service level is also very high.

Dont know. Maybe the matresses a bit hard.

This was the most glamourous glamping experience ever!

This was the most glamourous glamping experience ever! Every aspect of the stay exceeded our expectations. Everything has been thought of, & the staff are so friendly & helpful. The tent is high end with adorable furnishings, the styling makes you feel like royalty. The food hall is spectacular with details everywhere you turn. The table settings are top notch & the food is delicious. Reception booked us into a cooking class, organized massages overlooking the rice terraces, and even helped us organize a driver for our final day to our new destination plus some sightseeing. Sandat provide complimentary transport to Ubud city & back, very easy to book with them. We enjoyed the quiet surroundings, our tent was right next to rice terraces, which was divine to overlook. We had a separate bed as we were traveling as friends, even the spare bed was comfortable. This really is the perfect romantic getaway for couples though.

Only 2 small comments, and one is not in Sandat's control. 1. The road in is the worst road we travelled on, with massive potholes most of the way. We hired a private driver to get us there and felt guilty his car was being hammered on such bad roads. The local council or businesses really should look at some dirt to fill in the potholes & make the experience in better. Thankfully once you arrive, all expectations are exceeded by the beautiful reception & facilities at Sandat. 2. We paid the additional cost on our booking for Suite with 'Complimentary Daily Minibar', (not really complimentary when you pay extra for it). As it turned out, the mini bar was just a couple of bottles of sparkling water & soft drink, which when we added it up, would have cost us less to buy than the daily fee added to our booking. We had expected the mini bar to include chips or choc also, which it did not.

I had the perfect stay - beautiful experience!

I had the perfect stay. The location is charming, the tents are beautiful and comfortable, and the staff are absolutely fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they arranged a private yoga session for me and a massage in the room. I loved the private pool and everything about the private corner I had.

A Stunning Flaming Experience in the Wilds of Ubud

A great way to experience the serenity of Ubud. The tented suites are stunning, and really immerse you with the forest. The whole property is beautiful and very professionally run. The restaurant is very elegant and our New Years Eve dinner there was stunning.

Everything was great, we can't wait to visit again.

The tent and private pool was wonderful. The staff went above and beyond to cater to our every request. They organized a private candlelit dinner at our pool, floating breakfast, shuttles to center of Ubud, Landry and more. It was the best service I have had in any hotel.

Very grounding experience.

I love the re connection to nature, private pool and breakfast were so pleasant.

The bed was average and there were ants if you leave any crumb of food, the cicadas are loud. Take airplugs if your a sensitive sleeper.

Very friendly staff. The ambiance of hotel is amazing. Breakfast is very good. I highly recommend. A little bit far away from city center but they have free shuttle any time so this is no problem.

ROMANTIC BLISS

A MUST DO EXPERIENCE !!! I booked this as a two night romantic getaway for me and my boyfriend, gorgeous and secluded small but luxurious resort! Super simple, 5 tents, a few multiple room huts, a yoga stand, dining area, bar and pool (each tent has its own pool)! It was super peaceful and quiet! Each couple you could tell was in their own bubble but we all had dinner at the same time, nobody bothered anybody it was bliss! The food was extraordinary, the best I have had in Bali! We don’t drink anymore but the choice of alcohol was impressive! The tent itself was 10/10 its really looked after and beautiful decorated, the bathroom was so spacious and clean and full of fresh towels for a tent it was impressive! The staff are so kind and helpful and really patient! Happy to help you with anything!

You guys really have to fix that road seriously! We didn’t mind it took 10 minutes to get up the road but we felt so bad for our Gojek drivers car, especially as he dropped us off and had to go back down! Seriously… I’m Irish and I’ve never seen roads that bad!

Incredible, amazing, unique stay in the most beautiful part of Ubud!

Everything about this place is incredible. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and friendly. The rooms and grounds are so beautiful. The breakfast was incredible - such a delicious selection of fruit, bread and cakes. Excellent eggs made to order. Free shuttle to Ubud centre was so handy. I loved being out in the rice terraces amongst nature and away from the busy centre (but still close enough to get there on the shuttle in 20 mins).

There’s really nothing I didn’t like. A few people mention the bumpy road on the way in, but it’s only a few minutes and the drivers take it slow.

Private Luxury in the green

The design and the taste for decor in this glamping is superb. The staff is likewise nice and genuinely taking care of their guests. What I liked more was the luxurious private atmosphere we could enjoy while being basically in the jungle. The green is amazing, flowers are everywhere and being in our tent was a the best getaway from the "big-city-life" we could ever asked for. Make sure to take your time to enjoy the breakfast. I say this because the variety of what is offered is huge!!

It's not that we didn't like it, but make sure to bring a thick pajama, as it got very chilly in the night (obviously, as it is a tent!)

The tents are rustic with no hot water and very damp. For $450/night far to rustic. we would return to see the lovely staff!

Excellent Stay!! Best one of our trip to Bali!

The design of the entire property was brilliant!! Very aesthetic with chic yet natural decor elements combined with the lush green landscape. It transports you to this relaxed atmosphere, perfect for any vacation, especially honeymoon!! The staff was very helpful and catered to all our needs. The front desk helped us with some great recos for various activities and we are glad we booked it through them. This review wouldn’t be complete without talking about the food in the in-house restraunt….It was some of the best we had on our entire trip!! All in all,it is the perfect luxury getaway amidst nature!

Though the location seemed a little far due to the mud/rocky road when we got there first from the airport, it wasn’t as we realized the next day when we just got onto our scooter and got to centre within 15mins!!

beautiful hotel in the heart of Ubud. a very special experience

absolutely beautiful property, so well decorated and such kind people. the tent was gorgeous and above any of our expectations. feels like a lovely hotel room but with the sounds of nature and so much private space in the heart of Ubud.

the property was wonderful. really personal breakfast and meals as it is a small boutique hotel. only improvement would be the pool was too cold for us to use, but if you have sunny weather before you stay hopefully this would help!

Incredibly scenic

beautiful location. lovely tent with a private pool. Well protected from mosquitoes. They come around in the evening and light mosquito candles ect. Delicious breakfast which you can enjoy on your terrace and even do a floating breakfast. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Good food and drink selection at the restaurant.

Beds are a little on the hard side so might be a little uncomfortable for some.

Wonderful stay

Absolutely beautiful experience, the tents were always kept clean and never had problem with too many bugs. The staff were all accommodating and friendly. The restaurant food was delicious and not overpriced. Really nice to have your own plunge pool to enjoy in the Bali heat :)

Back to the nature experience

Glamping experience was really great, and the tent condition is as expected. Breakfast is OK-ish (don't expect 5-star hotel food quality) Feels like back to nature and privacy is maintained well.

The bed is not the type that offers the best comfort, could use a better type. Breakfast and food is OKish (don't expect a high end hotel food quality).

Exceptional

The room was great, it was clean, big and with a great style. You feel completely immersed in the nature, but at the same time safe and with your privacy. The food...amazing, and the dining area looks like being in an interior design magazine! Staff excellent, perfect English, and always available for helping you. Position, in the middle of some rice fields, in a quite but at the same time easily connected with Ubud center thanks to the free transfer service they have in place.

Exceptional

Wonderful luxury feeling. laid back atmosphere with discreet but attentive service . We wanted to stay somewhere a little bit away from the crowds so this was perfect. I would recommend hiring a moped and taking advantage of the shuttle in the evening for eating out.

The only thing I would change is increase the local dishes on the menu at the restaurant and reduce the European ones
