Not what we expected and a big disappointment certaintly for the prive. We do not recommend this hotel!

The hard working girl that provides breakfast and did our laundry!

At first, the moment we arrived they suddenly told us our room was not available and that we had to stay in another room for one night. We booked a deluxe room for 3 nights, but our first night was all of a sudden in a budget room. The difference between the rooms was huge. They didn't give us any notice or other options. At the checkout they even tried to charge us for 3 nights in de deluxe room. When we pointed at that it was not the right price they lowered our check with 1000 roepies. This price was still way to high!!! And then: - the wifi is not working; - the door of the deluxe room could not close/locked, which left the door always open for about 3 centimeters; - the steps to the deluxe room were dangerous because some of the steps were completely loose. You had to skip those steps for your own safety; - every morning there is some singing/music starting at 05:30 am and it goes on for like 30 minutes; - around the same time you will definitely wake up because of the tuktuks starting their engines and keeping them on for quite some time and of course using their claxons; - the hotel is outside the city center, which is fine, but even then you will wake up early because of all the noise; - Worst breakfast we have had in Sri Lanka; - the budget room was very moist and humid. The next morning our clothes felt very moist. This is probably because non of the rooms have an AC. On big compliment to the girl working there. She works really hard while the owners are just chilling on their couch. We felt sorry for her :(

Very friendly hosts. Great location away from the noise of Ella but a quick shortcut to get into town. Excellent laundry service. Nice area to sit outside with great views.

Not the best value for money

The room is very cozy, with a lovely view to the mountains. It was clean and the host was nice.

There were multiple electricity cuts during the night that made it impossible to sleep, I would assume by paying the price here which is above average, the guest house would have a generator. Also, it was hard sleeping as our room was close to a temple which prayed with drums in the middle of the night, and we could hear the buses and trucks from the road down the hill.

Amazing family home surrounded by the greenery of Ella. Cozy little rooms with a lovely chill area to relax and great breakfasts cooked by the host.

The location is quiet, although hard to find. there is a footpath through the forest which makes it closer to the center. Do not expect too much luxury when booking the budget room. Host is friendly. Mosquito net is provided.

Booked for 2 nights but stayed for one night, because of changing plans. I had to pay the full amount, the host said he cannot cancel anything

I really enjoy the location with 10min walk from Main Street while very quite located in the valley, with good view of Ella Rock. Family speak a little English and very friendly.

bathroom only 30 Celsius degree water, I can deal with it in summer not sure how about winter, and some ants on the wall.

really good stay in Ella

really good place to stay in Ella .very big spacious room and a balcony.really good big bed ,trust me it’s looks like small in pictures but it’s a nice king size bed 😀.5 minutes walk to the town,if u want food they have decent food you can buy. from the restaurant they have .good free breakfast and staff is super friendly .stay there 3nights .definitely gonna stay there next time in Ella ..

I stayed in a budget room. Big and clean. About 4-5 minutes walk from the middle of town. You can eat at the guesthouse and have your laundry done.

Lovely stay close to city center

Clean room with a nice bed. Outside there is a nice place to sit with view over the mountains. The breakfast and dinners I had were amazing! The owners are the most friendly people and want to help you with everything you need. I would definately go back to this place.

The view out of the room is just amazing. The room was super clean and comfortable. It’s a bit outside of the city so super quiet.

as it’s outside the city you have to walk up and down hill about 10 minutes to get to the city. There were some misunderstandings with the owners as they could not speak well English. but anyway really good!

Amazing views and hospitality

Cute place with an amazing view owned by the sweetest couple. You feel like you are in the middle of the jungle even though you are only a short walk from town. The room was very clean. I would absolutely recommend to stay here.

Really great stay! The room is large, very clean and comfortable. The view was also amazing to wake up to. The family is super nice and if you are here, you have to try the homemade dinner - it was so good! Can highly recommend the place.

Awesome view of the mountains. Nice stay.

The view at breakfast and dinner is just awesome. Guni is an awesome host. He took me to many places and showed me around. He could also give good tips on where to go, as he is very well connected in Ella and Bandarawella. The breakfast was prepared from Guni's wife with a lot of love. Can totally recommend to stay at Raveena.

Location is on a very narrow lane that is not accessible to automobiles. Need to take a tuk tuk or walk.
