Perfect for nature lovers!

We loved the whole concept of a proper ranch! Our host Reynard and his wife are amazing persons and treated us in such an amazing way! Also it’s perfect for animal lovers!

Disappointing

- breakfast - friendly staff - location - cute animals - nature near - close to beach - mosquito net (was hanging before picture taken)

- dilapidated - extrem mosquito - no bathroom door (not in the description) - no hand soap - no hand towel - unclean outside kitchen - no free cancellations

perfect simple stay

Simple and cool! Great hosts (Ron is an expert of Las Galeras and will build you a program to visit all the best of the area) very calm and peaceful, excellent breakfast, thank you so much Ron and the family.

Perfect, Perfect Perfect

La Rancheta is a great place for those who love nature and a friendly enviroment. Ronald and his wife are great people. I have no words to describe how staying in La Rancheta made my vacations even better. The rooms are huge and the place super clean and with a rich garden! 3 lovely dogs that if they could, they would hike with you, 3 lovely cats that always chat with you. Everything perfect. I have also to thank for the other great gests that were ther, like John, from El Cabito.

Beautiful lush garden

Beautiful gardens, tasteful buildings, good atmosphere, pool, hammock on balcony, wooden floors in upper rooms, friendly animals, helpful owners and staff, peaceful setting. I was sad to have to leave!

Small things not working in every room (faucet, toilet flush, shower hand held), bedding and mosquito nets could do with replacing, nightly noise from dogs and frogs

Nice garden, good vibe.

Owner is very nice, a bit crazy in a good meaning. He tried to make us feel there very welcome. We also could rent a scooter from him. The garden is beatiful, this place has a good vibe.

Everything would need a bit of repairing or maintenance, because the place is getting old. Also the location is a bit out of the town. Lots of mosquitos.

Bad

We had a really bad experience with this property… we were supposed to sleep 3 nights, but we only made it for one. We had cockroaches and rats in the room that were coming through the wall that was made of stones. The idea of this place is beautiful, but it needs a lot of improvement. Also, the location is quite bad if u don’t rent a car/moto, since it’s quite in the middle of nowhere, being quite far from the town. Above all, they still charged us for the night we slept there+ some extra taxes, which it wasn’t fair since we couldn’t sleep at all.

Hi everyone!😁 La Ranchate is the great place! I have been there for 2 weeks. It was so very nice !🏖☀️ Ronald is the best owner !👍🏻 He helped upon the all questions!👌🔥 It’s really quiet place. I got the big pleasure of vacation 🏖🌎

Exceptional

Great place with the unique spirit. There are several bungalows in a green garden. They're well separated from each-other and you can rest in loneliness. We rented the biggest house for three people including a kid, bit it can accommodate more people. The facilities are quite basic, but clean and fine for the price. There's a kitchen with all the necessary stuff but I'd recommend breakfasts that are served bu the great host and i guess the owner of the place - Ronald.

Well, there's always something that needs an improvement, but nothing critical here. One thing - there are lots of mosquitoes, so buy anti-mosquito spirals in the local store to enjoy the evening outside.

The best place during our entire trip in Dominican Republic

Quiet place to stay, great food and close to beach

This place is great, we lived in bungalow in tropical garden. There is small pool. Breakfast was tasty and fresh every morning. We used to have also delicious dinner here for good price. Nearest beach is about 500m and is clean.

Kind owners, nice breakfast

Owners are kind and helpful. Breakfast included lots of fresh fruit. Great if you want to visit Las Galeras and have a car.

Insects in the room, some things were broken.

Great spot for openminded travelers!

We spent there few nights with my boyfriend. The owners are really kind and helpful and also can provide you with great breakfast and dishes during the day. Place is full of animals like cats and dogs and in general is very…natural ☺️ I would say it’s a great spot for young and open minded travelers. It’s 5 minutes walk to the beach.

A little gem and peaceful place with great hospitality

Very friendly service, great hospitality, a calm and peaceful place. Perfect place for individual travellers who prefer a less touristic but more original local life and easy accomo. The Playita beach is in 5 min walking distance and was very pretty and calm.

Absolutely wonderful place! Walking distance to a beautiful beach, quiet place, great food, incredibly service by The Host, overall an excellent place, great price, I will be going back again next week
