Fantastic
This is an amazing magical place, you feel like in a fairy tale. The owners are wonderful caring people, ready to help at any moment. They advised us to visit interesting places and none of these tips turned out to be useless. In addition, they themselves agreed and organized trips. The cleanliness of the rooms is perfect, you open the door of the room and you find yourself in a beautiful garden where calibres fly and amazing flowers bloom. I had a great time and will definitely visit them again.

Very nice experience/ Recommended to lovers of nature!
Amazing experience in authentic natural environment with beautiful garden, where you can enjoy birds singing, family of monkey , who watch you from trees and who are pretty shy. Varans, mongooses, chameleons are also the part of the fauna in the garden. Very friendly, helpful family that make your living enjoyable. Special thank you to Dinuka and Beauty for their caring attitude! Tasty breakfasts and dinners, big portions of meals. Comfortable villa. Beach is very close.

Good
Quiet place far from the road and close to a beautiful beach which is never crowded and suitable for long walks. The hosts were friendly and helped us with excursions and transfers. Beautiful garden on the territory with lots of plants, flowers, birds, mongooses. Sometimes, we saw monkeys as well.
I wouldn’t call the breakfasts “very good” but rather average. The food was cheap, and only one fried egg was served for continental breakfast where you would expect at least 2 eggs and some variety with they way they are cooked. But to be honest, good food is problematic to find in this area. Even to find good fruits, you’d better go somewhere else. For example, good fruit market can be found in Hikkaduwa. There are only few restaurants nearby for alternatives, the White Villa restaurant (where they serve omelets and such, but for high price and with awful service, so don’t expect a lot from them). Also, there is a restaurant inside the Heritance hotel where you can find really good jumbo prawns, good coffee and such, but the quality also depends on the team working in the kitchen which seems to change every day. Overall, it was good, but one time we were served with a brewed coffee instead of espresso (they changed it for espresso when we insisted), and another time they served us with an overdried lobster which was very disappointing.

Exceptional
This is a charming spacious villa designed in old colonial style and surrounded by a beautiful garden. Lots of birds, monkeys and other wildlife, making an excellent background sound. We've also seen a monitor lizard baby and a mongoose. The villa is located in such a way that you do not notice other guests (if there are any). The beds are very comfortable. A good clean shower and toilet. It's a 2 minutes walk from the beach; a 10 min walk from a nice supermarket. The nearest beach is clean, no sea urchins or anything you might not want to step on with your bare feet. Good wifi connection (zoom and skype work all right). Amazing hosts, very friendly and caring; offering a variety of delicious meals (we had breakfasts and dinners), excellent tea. The hosts could offer taxi services. Nearby we recommend turtle hatchery and Madu River safari, we saw lots of animals, it was a wonderful experience. The hosts could also help you with shopping (we really enjoyed riding a tuktuk to buy tea).
For us, everything was perfect. Even mosquitoes did not bother us (they did not show up often).

Gay Welcome Hotel in Sri Lanka and open minded, Absoloutely a paradise in Sri Lanka!!!
We chose this place because it is gay-friendly. Feels like paradise here... This place far exceeded our expectations, it was absolute heaven. Having stayed in beautiful hotels around the world this was up there with the very best of them, a haven of nature, peace, relaxation and incredible food all cooked fresh with local ingredients. Garden was absolutely a paradise, so beautiful to relax your mind with birds, monkeys, mongoose and varan we saw. We were blown away by the home from home feeling while also having total privacy. Our room was bigger than most we stayed in around Sri Lanka and very tastefully decorated, very spacious and clean. Breakfast and dinner we had very delicious and amazing everyday. Staff is always ready to help you, always smiling, so sweet and very kind! We always had our privacy and open mined. We highly recommend this place to everyone. And we highly recommend this place to Gay travelers to stay in Sri Lanka with this place with safe, privacy and use their tours and travel with them always.
