awesome place .. older people would struggle with the stairs and possibly the trees are due for a trim for the view out to the sea .. but it was awesome if mobility isnt an issue .. great hotwater

Twenty years ago I would have loved this place but it is not suitable for an older group.
the view from upstairs was fantastic!
as some in the group were not particularly mobile, knee and ankle problems; we did have difficulty negotiating the stairs. It would have been helpful to know about it before we booked. Also the number of the property is partly obscured by shrubbery and the neighbour does not seem to be happy about being questioned as to the where abouts of 18A

Very disappointing, gardens very overgrown,not well kept at all.
No breakfast, lots of road noise.
This property was very over priced $350 per night, not worthy of the price.

Dirty. Hot - no AC in bedrooms. Did not justify the amount we paid.
It was central and we could go to the city easily.
We travelled to Abel Tasman National Park and this was our stop to relax after the walk. However, the house was extremely hot, specially the Bedrooms, for us to relax. In fact, when we informed this to the host we were told that they cannot arrange for a fan, we then suggested if we could purchase one and can be refunded the money for (which we did as the heat was intolerable). The pictures did not justify the house, the photos looked incredible and the house was in fact tired. The house was very dirty, there were spider webs everywhere and we could not even open the windows to see the scenery. The outside are was not pleasant at all to relax in, there were leaves and dirt everywhere. Also, the outside furniture was tired and dirty to sit on. We have travelled to other countries and never complaint as long as the place is neat and clean, that is the least a guest asks for. All in all we did not find it worth the money as it was even expensive on the other platforms.
