staff is nice, cleaning service is good, and the bath room and bay tub are great

There’s only one electric socket available for charging while we have many devices with us (phones, iPad and laptops). Breakfast room looks very old, cheap and unattractive and using disposable containers so that we only had breakfast once there even though staying for 4 nights.

the hot water didn’t work. staff were extremely rude. the room was freezing cold during the night and very humid. there was absolutely no ventilation in the room and the blanket was tiny

Everything was great. Comfortable, extravagant, smart design, just amazing. Don't listen to the negative reviews. The place is great for staying a few nights with your significant other. Night sleep was extremely dark and quiet, without any disturbances. I have not had such good sleep in many weeks. Air conditiong was well balanced and you could just leave it on "auto" without being disturbed. Breakfast is from 7 to 10am and while not being luxurious, it serves its purpose and has a good coffee machine. Even though the building might be older (and the age does show in the hallways), the relevant utilities (such as ventilation covers, filters, bathroom appliances) were all stainless, new and in perfect working order. The room was clean and well maintained. It's not a family hotel, it's not a business hotel, it's not a backpacker hotel. It serves one purpose, and it does that very well. It does it at a fair price. There was no singing, no other noise. There was no bad smell. Although keep in mind, I told the staff before check-in that I want a non-smoking room. Perhaps some of the "smoking smell" reviews for this hotel are just from the general fragrance some old buildings may emmit when A/C is off. I had a great time and can recommend it. Wi-Fi was also very good for working either in the room or in the breakfast area. Transportation to MRT is convenient by bus and/or You-Bike.

i wish there was a soap to use for a bubble bath on their spa bath tub and i wish guess can check in a bit more early than 9pm

Room space is greater than other hotels. An air purifier is nice for customer.

Room floor is not fully flat. Need a little attention.

Room was big.

The staff made us wait for 10 min to check in while helping other guests who came in after us. Only after I asked what's taking so long did they start with us. When we got to the room, it smelled like sigarette smoke. The shower was still wet and there was a piece of slime or something on the floor of the shower. We changed rooms to a cleaner one, but then there was singing going on in a room next to or near ours. The noise kept us awake until 5am in the morning. By far the worst place I've ever stayed in.
