About this house rental
Adorable 3BR/2BA beach cottage on Fripp Island. The upstairs has two bedrooms, One with a king and the other with a King and a twin bunk bed. Downstairs offers a bunk bed combo twin over full along with a full-size bathroom. Living/dining/kitchen combo. Very open floor plan with excellent entertaining space. Screened in porch and large deck overlooking expansive yard. Outdoor shower for convenience after a day at the beach - perfect for your family getaway to Fripp! This rental comes with 2 amenity cards included. Additional cards are available for $50 each. (Ages 13 & up). The rental price also includes the use of a golf cart. Amenity cards are good for entry to all the pools on the island along with the snack bar, Bonito restaurant, excursions, and chair and umbrella rentals. If you have never been to Fripp before you are in for a treat. Fripp is a private island with no commercialization. Most people park their cars upon arrival and only travel by golf cart during their stay. The island is 1 mile wide and 3 miles long. Our home is situated in the dead center just off of the main road (on a cul de sac) with the beach in one direction and the marina in the other. At the marina you can take shell excursions, Dolphin tours, rent paddle boards, or dock your boat. The beach offers chair and umbrella rentals with beach accesses every block. The "adult" pool is just off of the beach and offers a ocean side bar for cocktails. There are 7 pools at Fripp including a kiddy pool, adult pool, Olympic pool, and one heated pool (don't plan on it being a hot tub but warmer than the rest.) There are also playgrounds, volley ball, and basket ball courts. The beach club offers a number of planned activities that you will find in a hand out you will receive at the guard gate upon arrival. Some of these include corn hole tournaments, Sand sculpture contest, pool side bingo, golf cart scavenger hunts and family karaoke nights. For the kids there is Camp Fripp (by reservation) and a nature center. Bath towels are provided but bring your own beach towels. Washer and dryer in unit. One roll of paper towels and one roll per bathroom of toilet paper is provided along with bed linens.

Great house and location. The kids loved the swing in the yard. House is cute and decorated nicely. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay! The location was perfect!! We loved taking golf cart rides and seeing all the deer! The yard/driveway was great for our annual Thanksgiving family football game! We would definitely stay again!!

We had a good time at the property for 6 nights. It as in a good location and was comfortable. I took off 1 star for a couple of broken items (blinds/shower bar/stair) that needed to be fixed, but everything else was great.

Wonderful stay!
We had a great week at the “Lost Lobster!” Five of us stayed and we had plenty of room to spread out. Some of the highlights included the location on the island, the tree swing (for kids), 2 bikes we were able to ride, and the screened in porch with fans for keeping cool! Initially, when we checked in, the floors were not very clean which is why we rated it lower. Luckily, the cleaning service stopped by for a final “walk through” and they were able to rectify the situation. There was a vacuum available to use in case we would have needed to clean it ourselves. Bathrooms, kitchen, and bedrooms were fine regarding cleanliness! One minor disappointment was that the outdoor shower was not working (nor is it an enclosed just FYI). Also, we did bring one other small TV for the kiddos to use in one of the bedrooms since the only TV is located in the living room. Would we stay here again? Absolutely! Cute home on a quiet cul-de-sac with updated rooms/beach decor! Miss the beach already!

This property is in a great location on the island, nice quiet cul-de-sac and easy walk or drive by golf cart to the beach. Communicating with the owner/property manager was extremely easy; always had quick responses from her. We were however, very disappointed in the cleanliness of the home and the lack of kitchen cookware.

This house was nice and in a nice, quiet neighborhood. It’s close to the marina and comes with a golf cart with is great! The owner is very responsive and easy to work with. We would stay here again!

Loved the location, electric cart, and screened in porch were highlights. It's quiet and I saw very newly born twin fawns and a mama deer each day. When we were ready for the beach just a quick ride over the bridge. We will be back!

Beyond expectations
We had a great time! The home had everything we needed. Great updates and overall just very nice accommodations. The location is perfect and just a short golf cart ride away from the beach. The owners were nice and helpful.

Great quiet spot!
We loved the peaceful area where this property was located. The house was neat and clean with added bonuses like floor fans! It's spacious and there is also great space outside on a porch, deck, and carport area. My personal favorite is the screened porch! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

We have stayed at Fripp in the past and always enjoyed it. This house was set up perfectly for our family. Everything we needed was there to make for a stress free, easy vacation. The beach is super close, and the golf cart was awesome! The house was in a quiet cul de sac which was nice. The home has been remodeled in the cutest way and was so comfortable and nice. This was the perfect place to stay, and the owners were very attentive when we needed assistance at check in. If your dates are available, book now! You won’t regret it!

Brief but so nice!
I would definitely reserve this lovely cottage again.
It is very clean and so cute! Put together well, attractive. The smart TV was a nice addition. Comfortable living areas - porch is wonderful! Kitchen was well stocked.
Unfortunately, Florence had other things in mind and I had to cut my vacation very short.
I will try again here next year!!!

Loved this house and location!
This house is adorable, very clean, and appears to have been updated since the pictures were taken. It is decorated beautifully and comfortably and had all the amenities we needed or wanted. We were able to relax with Netflix each night after playing at the pool or beach.

Perfect Property for Family
My family and I loved the Fripp Island Cottage. The cottage was freshly painted and remodeled. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and has a nice Weber propane grill. We look forward to staying in the cottage again soon.

Great location, awesome amenities!
My wife and I rented this home for 6 nights with our three young children. The location of this home is perfect for a Fripp family vacation. The beach access at the end of Bonito Dr is a VERY short golf cart ride away. The Cabana Club, where the kiddie pool is, was a five minute golf cart ride away - and there is a playground halfway there that our kids loved! It's also a short drive to the food court where we regularly ate ice cream. The Bonito Boathouse restaurant is even closer and has great food.
This house is secluded on a corner lot at the end of an unpaved street that few people drive down. The shower outside has warm water! This was one of the best features after a long day at the beach. The bedroom with the bunk beds is on the first floor, and the other two bedrooms are upstairs. It worked out for us because our kids are great with stairs. The house was well decorated and very clean. We made good use of the golf cart! It's the best way to get around the island. We also took advantage of the screened in porch, grill, and outdoor picnic table. And the island in the kitchen was the perfect place to serve our kids breakfast each morning. They were able to watch shows on Netflix and Amazon on the smart TV in the living room.
The management company was easy to get a hold of as well.
To sum it up, we were pleased and would stay here again!

amazing rental home!
Me and 3 of my girlfriends stayed in this rental home last summer, and let me just say it was amazing! When we first got there we could not figure out how to unlock the door so we called their personal cell phone at 6pm on a sunday night. They answered right away and helped us into our house. The house was exactly as described and just as beautiful in person. There were no surprises when we arrived which was very nice. The only problems we had were the floors were a little sandy which is hard to avoid when staying on the beach and the golf cart drove very slow - but worked just fine! I would recommend this house to anyone wishing to have a good time with friends or family. The owner was very nice and very easy to work with! Thank you for the fabulous trip!
