I stayed here one night The views are great. It has a bedroom with full bath and a loft area with another bed. Large TV and I appreciate they left ice in the freezer and everything for drip coffee. It's clean and comfortable. I recommend it highly

Just a quick getaway from the crowded city. A great place to relax and rewind.

We had a great stay at Pueblo Kachina. The place was clean, the bed was comfortable, there was a fenced dog area, gym, and sauna. We didn’t use any of the amenities but it was cool they were there. Short trail on the side of the house was great for walking the dogs. We saw tons of elk at the property and the view was great. We will stay here again when in town to visit relatives.

We live about 2 hours away and just needed a getaway for a couple days. The most amazing property on a hilltop, with privacy and amazing sunset views. Would recommend, and we will definitely be staying again.

The unit is attached to the garage of the owner's house. Close to Payson but quiet location. Good dog walking area.

This was our first time to the Payson area. We came to see fall foliage, hike and explore the area. It did not disappoint. The house is in a great location to do just that... explore the area. Plus it worked well for my husband and I and our dog!

I knew the house would not be anything fancy for the price, however I expected cleanliness at the very least! The carpet was very dirty with area rugs in several places that would bunch up after being walked on. The area leading to the dog run through the "exercise room" and "sauna" was absolutely atrocious. Checked out the washer and dryer that was listed as available in the amenities, there were towels, sheets etc. in both of them. The items in the washer apparently had been there a while because they really smelled bad when I lifted the lid. Foil around the burners on the stove was dirty, the range hood was very greasy both on the outside and under where the light bulb was. Honestly, I could name a lot more things that could use a thorough cleaning along with numerous things that are in need of repair. I was very uncomfortable there and would not consider ever renting the property again.

Lovely split level house. Great view. Very quiet. Saw wildlife ...squirrels, elk, coyotes, rabbits, etc. Interior is not super modern, but the price is right. Tremendous value if you are wanting to get away and breath the cool, fresh mountain air.

Our two night stay wasn’t too bad. The place is small but worked out well for my boyfriend and I and our 4 dogs. The views were beautiful. The king bed was very comfy. The carpets and rugs could use a good cleaning. Downstairs to the outside dog pen area could use some cleaning as well. A bit outdated and a larger couch would have been nice but overall for the price and the fact they allowed our 4 dogs I’d say it was worth the price.

We had a restful and relaxing staycation. The views are beautiful.
Bed was very comfortable in master bedroom. We didn't use other beds available as it was only myself and husband.
Kitchen had everything needed and coffee supplied which was a plus.
Very cozy and quiet good location.
Very close to downtown Payson, grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, etc.
Some black ants on kitchen counter, a couple of days.
And spiders in bathroom, livingroom.
Only recommendation would be spraying for spiders, ants and housekeeping
taking care of dusting, windows, spiderwebs indoors and porch/walkway to front door.
Overall we enjoyed our stay.
Would recommend this VRBO.

Enjoyed coffee on the deck every morning - listening to the birds and looking out over the valley below. Very peaceful. Just what we needed.

Remote beautiful property away from everything. Very peaceful and tranquil location with all the amenities you would need.

We had a great stay. It was quiet, clean, and relaxing. It is very close to town so we didn’t have to drive far. But it was up the hill enough to where we felt we were away from everything. We seen Elk and deer. The views were beautiful and the stars at night were just as beautiful. Thank you for such a great stay.

The location was perfect for us—between Phoenix and Sedona. It could use some updating but the view is wonderful.

Gorgeous views and a very comfortable stay! The only real complaints we had were that the carpets needed cleaning and the owner was very quick to come over and clean them. Also, the sofa seemed to be broken so it was a bit uncomfortable but not bad. The beds were very comfortable and the spot high on the hill provided for some beautiful views. Was so nice to have access to a washer and dryer too. Thanks so much for a great stay!

The views from this place were amazing. Was just right for celebrating a late Christmas and New Years! Added bonus, it SNOWED!! Was beautiful. Thanks for a great stay and we will definitely be back!!

Clean, comfortable, and quiet guest house. This wasn’t our first stay and won’t be the last. Amazing view! The large windows do make it very warm inside during the day - even in the winter. Window blinds or sun screens would be helpful. Overall - we enjoy this location and the owners are lovely and responsive.

Great views, easy check in, enjoyed out stay. We used the kitchen each night to make our meals, some of the items were a bit outdated but worked. Overall I would recommend this cozy location.

Kachina Pueblo is all that it is described to be. It is off the main highway and removed from the noise and traffic of Payson by being at the very end of a private "road" that leads to the top of a big hill that overlooks the surrounding area. The views of the valley below and surrounding mountains are superb, the house is super quiet, warm and cozy while we watched the recent snowfall, and then by adjusting the a/c down slightly, cooler later on the days where the sun beamed through the windows while we were there. You feel like you're really secluded up there on top of the hill but there is also a big house right next door...but we never saw or heard from those neighbors at all.
The king-sized bed in the master was comfortable and the bedding/linens provided was just right. The kitchen was a bit dated to match the house's construction year but it was adequate in functionality and seemed to have all that was necessary to cook. I took advantage of using the bbq on the outside deck to grille some yummy steaks during the big snowfall. It reminded me of all the times I did that exact same thing while we were living in Juneau, AK for years and years.
The Brinks lock on the front door was kinda tricky but not impossible to figure out as the motorized deadbolt does not seem to line up with it's home and therefore binds a little. Just put in your access code and hit the Brinks button, and then with your other hand on the doorknob, gently move the door in and out until you get a green light and "chirp" on the Brinks button. Do the same when locking the door to leave by using just the Brinks button.
All in all, two thumbs up on our stay at Kachina Pueblo!

This property hosts amazing views over Payson and the beautiful mountains. Parking is limited and driveway is very steep, so no trailers or multiple cars.
