Nice staff, pretty traditional interior & exterior.

Breakfast was very good. Location of the Hotel is quite. (At least my room - backside of the building). Friendly staff.

The pillow was awful. Lamp in the center of the room was too low. Dangerous for my head.

it is in a beautiful location and a great place to have a real Bavarian experience.

The grounds were beautiful, and we would love to visit again in warmer times when the huts are open. We had one of the suites which were wonderful. It was perfect for our two families and our little Yorkie, who the staff was extremely kind towards. The free breakfast was an awesome plus, and we also really loved that there was a restaurant for dinner. It was nice to come back after a day of sightseeing in München, eat dinner, and then go upstairs to put the kids to bed. The dads were able to enjoy a nice whiskey while we took the kids up, lol. The beds were very comfortable too which was a pleasant surprise as most places that doesn’t seem to be the case. The best part was the location; the train stop was directly across the street and it was only a 25 min train ride to Marienplatz. All of the staff were amazing!!

The food wasn’t stellar, but it also wasn’t bad by any means. The fried Cod fillet was definitely my favorite though! The only true downside was that of the back side room in the restaurant, where we were seated for our New Years Eve dinner. It was extremely hot in there. One of the servers did eventually open a window for a little bit which helped quite a bit.

The breakfast was great! The wifi was also very quick and the food in the restaurant was delicious!

There is not much to do in the surrounding area, however there is a train station right outside for ease of access into the city center.

The location is superb. You can wander in the forest and they have an exceptional beergarden with first class bavarian cuisine. The are also ideally located right next to the S Bahn which makes travel there very easy

The rooms may be quaint and bavarian but they are far too small. Our double bed was comfortable but there is was almost no space to put our suitcases anywhere and we both only had hand on luggage. The bathroom was minute. The shower was so tight that you could not lift your hands to wash your hair, definately need to revamp their bathrooms, as it had no window yet their extractor fan was not working I must add that we received the last two rooms on site the night before so it can be that that these were not the usual size. The location is truly beautiful.
