Lovely community and location

Fantastic spot. Not 5 star but very comfortable for our family of fishermen and families. Great spot close to all facilities food and retail. Definitely stay again

This house is in a great location, 5 mins walk to the shops and foreshore. However, there were several missing touches that could take this place from basic to fantastic. The bed sheets were cheap, thin and worn, with no top sheet or mattress protectors. Quilts needed an upgrade, were of average quality and need to be one size bigger for the beds. The spare quilt we used was stained. The kitchen was missing items like oil, salt, dishwashing liquid and tea towels and the bathroom had no hand soap. Towels were not supplied (as listed on the ad) and we brought our own. Blinds were damaged in the bedroom and didn’t close properly letting in lots of light in the mornings. Communication with the host was minimal, with no email advising of access to the property. We had to message/phone when we got there and wait for a response to find out the code for the key box. This house was basic, but within our budget which we were pleased with. We had a great time anyway, lots of potential and with a bit more attention to detail this place could be beautiful.

Walking distance to everything, table tennis and second toilet with laundry downstairs which was good for extra space. Large yard and good parking. We stayed with 4 adults and 4 teens but 4th bed was a fold up and no bedding was provided. Tidy but would benefit from a good clean in kitchen, bathroom and a few things fixed/replaced/updated

Great location, walking distance to pub and beach. We had no issues other then the house not having any of the essentials e.g. oil, glad wrap. The BBQ is supplied however they do not top up the gas bottle and "leave it to the guests to refill the gas as they only supply the facilities". Gas bottle cost $50 to exchange down there so BYO...

For a bunch of dirt bike riders this place was perfect. Plenty of space, access to large lockable garage, 2nd toilet and plenty of room to park cars and trailers! We'll be back in the future.

Great location, dated but clean, games room for kids, garage for storing stuff if you bring motorbikes etc This is the 2nd time we have stayed here.

Enjoy the space we had nice size games room BBQ in shed was very handy close to pub shops and beach. Room sizes was OK nice view from deck wished it went around the house.

The property is aged, which is fine….. facilitates are average and need updating, but what is most disappointing of all is that the owners here are withholding security deposits and accusing us of damage that just simply did not occur from us. We had small children and babies in the property with grown adults. There was no drinking or horse play. Damage was noticed by my sister in law while breast feeding a 5 month old baby in a bedroom on arrival. Based on this knowledge I feel the Owner can’t be trusted. I have a sneaky suspicion that other people have had this same or similar experience in this property. Absolutely disappointed to feel this after a few days away. We were extremely respectful to the facilities as average as they were !! When we left everything was cleaned except for the floors and the linen. (Normal) Might I add that the mattress’s and pillows are filthy dirty also. Would highly recommend finding another property if you are wanting to visit beach port. Based on this I would score this property and experience in the negative….

House was very clean in some areas and very wanting in others. Very sparse furniture and bedding provided eg. only 4 place table and chairs squeaky beds no mattress protectors used and an obvious mouse problem

Had a very uncomfortable stay due to the hot water service having a timer that only supplies hot water in the am until midday and we were not informed. Our kids and an adult could not shower after a fishing trip. P.s Beachport is freezing during winter. Cut our stay one day short as a result. The kettle that we were drinking out of had a white flaky substance at the bottom which was revolting. The oven trays were really burned and unhygienic and we had to cook on them. The bbq had a bad flare up because the fat trap was not cleaned. Near miss for a huge fire. Carpets smelly and there is ? Mouldy smell. Offered a discount of a free night on a new booking in the future. Respectfully declinez the place needs a reno.

This place has everything we needed as a group of motor bike riders and 4WD cars as well, a heater in the bottom games rumpus area is the only thing missing that would make this place perfect for winter trips which we all do because it’s best time of year for us,

Great location, plenty of room, Property a bit dated but still comfortable to stay in. Property manger was responsive to any questions I had. Overall a great week in beachport with the family 👍

I’ve stayed at this property a few times now and it’s never disappointed !

Great place had everything we needed, great loacation, maybe a heater down stairs for winter to enjoy the large rumpus room there is to offer other then that. It was fantastic

Perfect budget beach house with all the necessities. 5 minute walk from the beach Will definitely recommend to our friends.

Booked for Christmas, 1.pm enter the property, although we could not as we had still not received information on how to access the property. On the morning of Christmas Eve, 8.45am I messaged the property manager asking for this information. No response came until 1.09pm, after I had contacted STAYZ twice, they also emailed, phoned and messaged the property owner, with no luck. My information had read that the property owner would contact me a few DAYS BEFORE to advise on how to access the property. I received no apology only excuses that the property owners phone was either not in range or home on charge while he was cleaning the property. Umm, you were supposed to advise days ago on how to access, not the day of. On entering, as we gagged on the strong smell of floor/toilet cleaner we put all food away ready to prepare for cooking for Christmas lunch. I soon found out I had to wash every pot, lid, plate, mug, spoon, knife and fork before we could use any of them as they all had a fine film of dirt and grime, cooking scum and grease. I paid premium for this property for our family over christmas, 7 beds, 3 wine glasses at a pinch, filthy kitchen ware and Christmas Eve stress on how to get in. Summer stay, no top sheets on bed only a doona, too hot. Poor form
