Nice breakfast
Found bed way to firm ended up with a sore back.
Too much noise from next door they arrived home at midnight and you could hear every foot step on the floor boards. They also had a shower and it sounded like the bathroom shower was on the other side of the bedroom wall as you could hear the water running and going down the shower drain. Didn’t get a good night sleep so woke up with a huge headache from lack of sleep and my sore back which ruined our high tea plans for the Sunday.
I don’t think we would return book this property again.

They were very accommodating to my dietary requirements 👍😊

Cosy and clean cottage, with lovely birds visiting in the morning just outside the door. Well equipped kitchen and we could prepare ourselves a sumptuous breakfast with all the ingredients provided.
The locking and unlocking of the door was rather difficult. I think the door and the frame’s alignment was slightly off.

We stayed at Ironbark Cottage and had a magical time. The owners were wonderful with communication and vegan provisions and the space exceeded our expectations (the pictures don't do it justice). It was immaculately clean, warm, with quality mod cons and it was tastefully furnished with unique vintage pieces including an antique bed with lace canopy which was super comfortable. We loved the way the open plan space was organised which meant we could enjoy all the features together and we loved the generous outdoor gardens and wrap around decking giving us a constant view of the forest whilst also affording privacy. The view from the marble spa was amazing in rain, mist or sunshine, and we enjoyed the little touches like bathtime candles and birdseed to feed the visiting rosellas. The entertainment unit was also above expectations with ample options for listening and viewing but it couldn't beat the show nature put on from our high altitude vantage point. Watching the brilliant red-and-purple sunset from the porch as the city below lit up like a jewel was absolutely unforgettable! Many thanks to our hosts. We highly recommend this experience to any future visitors.

It was so well set up. The staff had thought of so many things that they made available which meant that everything you needed was already provided for without having to ask. This made the stay so enjoyable and so relaxing. The information about the area provided was also very comprehensive. The spa bath downstairs was lovely to sit and relax in.
Honestly I can't think of anything about the place that I didn't enjoy. You could hear the children in the room next door run up and down the stairs but it was hardly a distraction and would be the only small criticism that I could make. Everything else was just wonderful and more than compensated for this.

Stayed at the Owl’s Croft cottage. Loved the personalised welcome, spacious surrounding grounds and amenities provided. Great heating options to keep your stay cosy and warm including a gas fireplace. Seamless check in and check out. There is 1 parking space available on site per cottage. Loved the breakfast selection provided and the cottage had a great selection of teas.
I cannot fault this cosy haven at all.

Loved how peaceful and cosy it was.
Was visited by birds which was a thrill. The kookaburra let us get up close.

Beautiful cosy room. The room could be opened up to let in the breezes during the heat of the day & the heater kept up with the colder nights. We really enjoyed sunset from the balcony.
Lovely breakfast supplies provided.
Special mention for the local Indian Takeaway - Indian by Nature. It was the absolute best Indian food we have both ever had the pleasure to taste. Would be prepared to drive up the mountain just for this!
All in all it was a very relaxing stay & we will be back again ASAP.

The quiet and natural surroundings
The bushes at the carpark needs trimming back, they were scratching the car.

Privacy, cleanliness, really nicely decorated with lovely attention to detail - pictures, soft toys, ornaments, lamps, comfy bed - loved the four-poster feel and all-round mossie net, great spa-bath for 2, thoughtful breakfast hamper, good plumbed-in barbie on the deck, nice gardens to relax in. Bird feed provided and a hanging feeder on the deck - we had rosellas and cockatoos join us for dinner and breakfast. Felt loved and looked-after and we really enjoyed our stay.

We loved how you felt like no one else was around, it was quiet and secluded which was just what we were after
It would of been nice to get some bath salts for the spa
Last time I stayed, I was provided with a larger breakfast variety, however I’m also conscious of COVID and accommodation facilities trying to stay open, so saving a little money where possible is understandable
