Wonderful staff and service, convenient to University of Nairobi.

I chose this hotel due to it being in walking distance to a conference I was attending at the University of Nairobi. The staff at this hotel were amazing, hands down. Everyone was very friendly and collegial, offered very good service and worked very hard to make people's stay comfortable and address any issues. For example, I was assigned a high floor room with a malfunctioning ventilation system, and being in the Nairobi CBD meant that opening windows for a breeze let in a lot of smog fumes from the heavy traffic. As a result this room was quite uncomfortable, but the staff were able to provide me with a fan and then relocate me to a room on a lower floor that was without issue. The pool side bar area is very nice for an evening meal or a cocktail!

Lovely place with fantastic staff.

The staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. I left some of my things at the hotel when I checked out and the staff were very helpful in getting it sent back to me.

I had a very pleasant stay.

The breakfast was really excellent. And your location is perfect especially so after my former favourite Hilton Hotel was closed.

Your restaurant for lunch and dinner is not attractive. Hence I had my midday and evening meals outside the hotel.

I regularly stay here due to the location Separate bedroom, separate lounge Staff who are welcoming and willing to go an extra mile Fruit platter on arrival a nice touch

Rooms facing the University are noisy so peaceful nights not possible Linen and furniture rather tired, replacements would be nice TV.. stations/channels listed but not there Being picked from the airport by a taxi not Hotel's own like before, I guess this function has been outsourced but........?

It is relatively good and acceptable for the purpose.

Breakfast and the friendliness of the staff.

The room is a little bit old, the shower takes time for the hot water to come out.

Overall, this will be my preferred hotel every time I visit Nairobi! Location, location, location!

The locale is quiet and peaceful yet right in the city. Walk score for this location is 100 because I could walk to most amenities. I liked the staff very much. Very respectful and accommodating. Menu was not big which makes it a less complicated selection. The food was very good.

The towels were clean but too old. They need to change them. They need to invest in weighted blankets and also extra blankets for those who might be cold in the night (didn't apply to me). The couch was too uncomfortable for me! Room service was almost always engaged, which was disappointing!

Spacious room and friendly, helpful staff.

Problem with hot water and weak shower. Spotty wifi and ethernet did not work.

a grand old building with spacious rooms, good food and very friendly and helpful staff. Very reasonable price.

the bed was a little hard and room supplies - toiletries, tea, coffee etc - were limited, but at the price, it seems a little churlish to complain too much about that!

Excellent, Comfortable stay.

The staff are very welcoming, helpful they made us feel welcome, going out of their way to make our stay comfortable, they are an asset. I would recommend this hotel.
