Breakfast is provided.
When we arrive they gave us a room that is dirty, even have a dirty nappies and messy bed. Came down to talk to someone but its very hard to find staff in reception. But they provided a nice and clean room after.

Property is ideally located. and Max ( staff) was excellent.
It is an old property, however in saying that i have stayed at a lot of old properties which have been maintained well.
we had a call from the owner Michael, the same day early morning to confirm if we were coming down, which we were. He asked us we we could change from the apartment we have booked to a standard room, his reasoning was that the apartment only has 1 queen bed and 1 single bed in the living room. He insisted that we change to standard room as it will be more feasible for the family. i refused and asked him that i made a booking based on the number of members in my family so i Should get the ideal property. anyway when i refused i felt he got a bit upset. nevertheless we reached and checked in. An apartment, according to our booking was allocated to us, and when we opened the apartment there wad a bunk bed in the living room( which tells me Michael lied because he had another family who wanted an apartment and he didnt want to let go of the chance to make more money so he possibly checked with us if we were ok to move) but lets take it positively and think that Michael moved the bunk beds after our phone conversation. so now we checked in and tried logging into the WIFI, which we couldnt as we couldnt find the network spoke to MAX( staff) and he tried every possible way to give me a connection by even trying his hotspot from his personal phone . I spoke to Michael again and he blatantly refused to try to help us with wifi. Considering this refusal I dont think the property is worth spending your money on.
P.S included breakfast is only toast butter jam and cornflakes

Very nice accomodation with the country vibe. Close to all the activities that we had planned on doing.

Good included breakfast, with cooked breakfast tasty and reasonably priced.
It's a family hotel, and there was lots of noise of kids running in the corridors, but that's not the hotel's fault - it's the parents!

Breakfast, warm cozy and clean rooms, great location, friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay again.
Not the hotels fault- but families letting their children run around upstairs between rooms making a lot of noise between 6-10pm and not doing anything to control their children and their behaviour.

Duty manager was very helpful. Breakfast was great with lots of different toast options.
6.0
Very comfortable bed, spacious rooms, pleasant leafy garden, breakfast was good, and kitchen staff were helpful
No staff member was visible at reception until the day before we left. No information in the room e.g. it is a 1.5K walk into Bright, and a lounge and a bar are available for guests to use but this was not indicated. A list of day and times different places in Bright offer dinner would have been very useful as all were only open on specific days.

We managed to get last room during busy period. Lovely grounds out back. Swimming pool nice- bit dirty but ok. Rooms air conditioned which was awesome. Spacious. kitchen well equipped. Basic free breakfast- ok and can’t complain as free.
Overall, I found the place perfectly adequate and comfortable, but for the below issues which were related to staffing/lack of service.
Low staffing which is understandable but could have let me know - as I emailed to ask about checkin time ahead but no response. So room not ready till 3 hours after check in time. was left waiting 1hr plus 2 hours after official check in. Maybe suggesting using pool, waiting in garden etc would have been good instead of telling us to wait outside room in 30c degrees weather with a toddler. I suspect with staff run off feet, they were not ‘at best’. Reception not often attended to and despite ringing bell, no one came on multiple occasions.
I’d have rated 8plus-9 but for the above.

- comfortable rooms.
- breakfast was included.
- daily room clean.
- restaurant wasn’t open, with no communication to guests. really disappointing on a Saturday night to wait around for it to open food and literally no one around to ask.
- staff were mostly absent and very hard to find.
- expensive for what you got.
- continental breakfast was nice, hot breakfast was cheap but it seemed short staffed, long waits for coffee and service.
