You feel like you’re staying in a friend’s house by the sea

The location is great. Melaney is so friendly and welcoming. The room is decorated so nicely. The wallpaper is bright jungle print, so much nicer than the normal bland grey and white! Delicious cooked breakfast. There’s a booklet of recommendations of restaurants, pubs, ice cream parlours etc in the room. The fridge in the room contains a little bottle of milk, a bottle of water and home made wax melts for the nightlight. And there was home made banana cake in the room when we arrived. These little personal touches make all the difference!

We had the most amazing weekend and will definitely be back!

The property was perfect for a nice weekend away! Everything you could possibly need and the access to the beach hut was the icing on top! Melaney was an excellent host making us feel so comfortable. Will 100% visit again!

Every part of my stay was of a very high standard, such a warm welcome , there was a slice of banana cake waiting for me in the room, plus milk in the fridge, a fantastic Guest house

Overall the acocmodation was nice. My (single) room was quite small, but it had a really nice ocea-view and it was cozy overall. Melaney is a really nice and welcoming host - I had leave quite early (6am) so she left me a little breakfast way before the actuel breakfast time. From the B&B you are quite close to different restaurants and just next to the beach.

Superb

The room looked straight out to sea which was excellent and just what we wanted. The staff and Melany were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. One member of our party is Coeliac and Melany went out of her way to accommodate this with lots of Gluten free options for breakfast. Breakfast was very nice.

It was absolutely wonderful and will definitely be recommending this property to others and hope to go back again.

Melaney, the host, was so warm and welcoming. She was very thorough with making sure she was prepared for my arrival and to make sure i had the best stay, which I did! It was beautifully decorated and so relaxed and chilled, so much so that I wanted to stay longer! Melaney made a banana bread for my arrival, had milk and water in the fridge, along with wax melts to choose from for my room. There was everything you needed such as shampoo, shower gel, conditioner and a hair dryer, as well as a TV, fridge, towels and even bath robes. Breakfast was very yummy with lots of choice. The location was perfect, spectacular sea view, it’s also only 5/10 minute walk to the main shops.

There wasn’t anything that I didn’t like.

Broomcupboard with a view!

Right on the seafront so an excellent view over the sea. Friendly and obliging host. Level walk to town centre, station and close to bus stops.

The room was small, even for a small person like me. No space for a wardrobe, the bathroom sink was barely big enough to wash my hands and the soap dispenser made it impossible to lean over it. Wouldn't want to spend more than a couple of nights there.

Amazing view of the Channel

I stayed with my partner at Channel View Guest House just for one night during wintertime. The owner welcomed us in such a friendly way that we felt at home immediately. I was surprised that she had spontaneously upgraded us to one of her best rooms. And the room was fantastic with a direct view of the Channel. At night it was so silent that we slept lulled by the sound of the sea waves. I definitely recommend this place!

Was clean and tidy room had everything you needed. Breakfast was good. Melanie went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant

Location, options for breakfast and super service.

It is not the hotel's fault that some guests are inconsiderate. They come to the hotel room late and start rattling and stomping around as if they were in their own home.

Relaxing two night December break in sunny Weymouth.

Very friendly staff with lots of local knowledge, great location and views. Lovely breakfast with varied choice (and cake on arrival - nice touch!) Quaint old house. Plenty of restaurants, pubs, things to do in Weymouth.

All good really. Some might find the room a little small but that's obviously constrained by the historic style of the property.

Great position, right on the sea front.

The room was as described - attic room, with view, a little small if your tall. Very good breakfast and host.

The host Mel,& the staff at the guest house made us very welcome & we would recommend.

The breakfast was a very good variety, well managed throughout the week.

The room could have been a bit larger, especially for two people.

Amazing host and great location

Melaney and her family were absolutely lovely. She was really helpful as a host and told us where to have dinner and travel the next day. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was really nice and we had lots of options.

Unfortunately the bathroom was very small
