We were extremely happy with our cruise experience. The location, Halong Bay, of course is unbeatable. The ship was extremely clean, comfortable, everything was well-organized. Our room was lovely, huge, and clean. There was plenty of delicious food. The kayaking and the island tour the next morning were great.

was on a 1 night/2 Day Swan Cruise to Bai Tu Long Bay with my family on Dec 24th, 2022. The overall experience was very positive but some baffling misses left me a little annoyed. The boat is comfortable with great amenities and the balcony rooms were outstanding (we had two of them) The crew was amazing and the tour director very enthusiastic and personable. The itinerary was well planned and executed. The fact that Bai Tu Long is so beautiful and relatively less crowded made the experience surreal.

1. Extremely overpriced drinks for Vietnam— in the range of $7 for spirits, $1.50 for small bottled water and $2 for tea and coffee. We are environmentally conscious and do not mind filtered water served out of jugs but they don’t even serve that at meals. They provide empty water bottles in the room that you can refill a couple of times a day (and possibly on request) and that have to be carried by you to your meals. Considering the amount we paid for the cruise in a very affordable country like Vietnam, it was nickel and diming at its worst! if you don’t order drinks, they take your glasses away from the table! 2. The mandatory gala Christmas dinner for which we paid USD 30 per person had wonderful entertainment but the food really sucked. Some of the grilled chicken was not properly cooked and the overall culinary experience was underwhelming at best. That was unacceptable in a country where a fancy and delicious meal for four costs less than what we paid per person. Every single drink (including bottled water, tea and coffee) has to be ordered extra! I would have been really mad but the staff service was wonderful and the evening entertainment well executed.

The staff were so attentive and lovely. The room was spacious with such a comfy bed. The bath was great and even had jets in it! Felt super luxurious, wish we did another night! Mr Men was awesome and funny. The kayaking was fun and the cooking class was a lovely touch.

Just a small something. We are vegetarian, the options we had were very limited. We basically had what everyone else was having but without the protein. I think maybe more thought could be put into this.

Great communication when winds and weather cancelled one of our nights. Food amazing. Our host Sunday was so helpful and informative. Lovely kayaking brilliant views. All in all. lovely.

This is a great cruise, very satisfied. Our tour guide Mr Kein was very positive, knowledgeable and kept check on the service level provided to guests. The crew were young and friendly and provided awesome service. Thank you very much. Simon Forthun

we organized transit via the cruise and it was just a big scam. should’ve been a three hour car ride and we waited an hour for the bus and then the bus did all these detours so we got to tam coc 6 hours later.
