Perfekte Lage, sehr große Zimmer, super freundlicher Service

Great location and super helpful staff. I loved the pool and meeting some of the residents was a delight.
The room was very warm. I'm not sure there's air conditioning so hotter days could be a bit challenging.

The location is excellent, near the central station. The building is awesome.
The mini kitchen didn't have all the kitchenware, no pans for example.

The hotel did not have air conditioning, which was inconvenient.
It was close to the city, so I was able to spend the evening well.

The staff (especially Jasmine) super helpful and welcoming;
Swimming pull and sauna - it'a win! I really enjoyed my late night swims after a long day at work.
Gym - good machines
Would be good to have gym opened a bit earlier.

Breakfast option was very good....lots of different food options.
Our shower leaked into the bathroom itself which was a little annoying

I loved the building, the room space, the pool and the sauna. The breakfast was superb! I loved the warmth that exuded from the inclusion of our senior folk in society! My husband LOVED it was opposite Beethoven's mother's grave!! He was there on a Beethoven pilgrimage!! 😊🎶
It's difficult to think of anything for improvement! Maybe some more information in English? We turned the heat down in our room but still quite warm, for us anyway. That's about it!

Our family of four stayed in two adjacent rooms, which were doubles rather than the twins requested - but no problem as the beds were large and had twin individual duvets. It's a lovely old building, close to the train station and town centre. Our kids loved the pool. The breakfast and room comfort were all great.
It's worth noting that this grand old building is also an assisted living residence, with shared use of facilities, so if you have some lively and loud young kids with you … some extra care may be needed when around elderly residents.

Nice building, location
breakfast was not very special, good but not many choice.

The garden, greenery view, of the rooms, , large rooms, clean rooms and bathrooms
Nıo kettle, no coffee machine, no refrigirator, no feather pillows, very expensive room service coffee price, ( which gets cold during the long way from the bistro to the rooms ), and my liquid soap case was almost empty, they did not fill it even after they clean the room..

Great location and decent breakfast. The old building is very beautiful, but with the new building, the entire place feels a bit like a maze, and you can get easily lost. I really liked the inner courtyard.
First impression was horrible: I was snobbed by one of the reception staff upon arrival. The reservation was under my name, but somehow they erased it when my colleague checked in earlier and the receptionist didn't believe me... So I had to call my colleague down to the reception to validate my identity even though I actually did the booking. Then I was given zero information about anything (swimming pool, breakfast time, wifi, ...) and sent to the wrong floor. The rest of the staff seemed very nice and helpful though.
No standard Wifi, but you get redirected to a website where you have to enter a ticket number that you have to ask at the reception.

proximity to station
along with hotel visitors can live elders who are not particularly happy with visitors the place combines hotel and retirement home at the same premises

Spacious room, friendly staff who were very helpful, e.g., providing a fan. Very central location and yet calm at night and during days. Very good breakfast. Nice but small internal garden. There is also a reasonably sized swimming pool that we did not use. It was a bit weird since the same building hosts the Nova Vita residency for old people. So it can happen that you meet a disoriented woman in a wheel chair in the lift. If one does not mind, everything is perfect.
We had a room at the south side. Since there is no AC, it can be hot in the summer. Many hotels in Germany do not have AC, so nothing too noteworthy.

We enjoyed the every high level of cleanliness, the swimming pool was fantastic, breakfast was good; the staff were friendly and were always available. The standard room was spacious.
The concept of placing hotel guests with care-home and nursing-home residents is a good one; it would have been good to know in advance.
The complete lack of written information about the room available to us which left us dependent on help from the staff.
The difficulty in getting help with a faulty safe. We felt patronised; we’ve used safes in other hotels without difficulty but here we were assumed to fail to understand how to operate it.
The lack of control over our environment, particularly regarding ventilation. That led to poor sleep.
The building is vast and complex; we recognise the challenges staff face to make guests feel completely at home.
