Location is good, walkable from a nearby station problem is that the station doesnt have a lift so if you have a heavy luggage it would be a problem. There's a 7/11 right outside the hotel and you can just walk to the tourist spots/shops (dotonbori, amerikamura & orange street). Room is small but expected for its price. It is comfortable enough for 2 people.

Space is small so it is difficult to open both our suitcases at once. Lighting in the room is not as bright. Airconditioning is a bit dodgy to operate.

The refrigerator is not cooling. There are two washing machines. Two dryers This means that it is very little. Not enough for guests. The air conditioner is noisy. Morning cleaning staff Open the room door and come in yourself to bring a new towel. I told the staff to wait first. I'll open it for you soon. But the employees still opened it themselves. Main bathrooms on ground floor smelled awful and had stuff all over the walls. Air conditioner is set to eco mode after 9 and there is no way to change it. It turns back to 27 degrees automatically and you must wake up every 20 min to turn it back to 20 (lowest possible setting) if you want it to run. It was 100 degrees farenheit when we were there and the staff repeatedly lied about the settings and wouldn’t admit it was a cost saving measure. The breakfast room sat empty after breakfast until 5pm and staff would not let you sit there to use your own computer. Therefore there are zero spaces in the hotel to work outside of your room. Seems like they do not have a vacuum that works as the halls and room were covered in floor debris. As with most best westerns the room was microscopic and barely enough room to get around the bed. Air con in main areas did not seem to work well either. Made for a hot uncomfortable trip. Would never stay here again despite location next to subway line.

The location was really good, close to both subway, shopping street and bars.

The hotel room was really humid all the time. There was black hair on the walls of the bathroom as well as one of our towels, which also had dirty spots on it. The room was also very small and we had trouble opening our 2 regular sized suitcases at the same time.

Location- it is near few subways, Dotonbori, clubs, restaurants, convinis and stores, but at the same time not IN there.

I liked that staff was English speaking and also they tried to help with solving problems, they gave enough I formation too 2)thank you for everyday change of bathroom towels, robes, bedding and filling up drinks 3) book with instructions 4) luggage weight and delivery service 5) there is 1 free sake is given for free if you’re staying in this hotel and a service of booking a kimono too.

1)Cleaning service was bad. Unless I complained about the condition in my room. Even though there was everyday cleaning service, there were a lot of dust everywhere and I found out somebody’s contact lenses and buttons on the floor. 2) I didn’t like air conditioning too. I asked for cleaning it properly, because my sister and I got sick and i got a bronchitis because of the dust in it. 3) conditions of technical facilities were not the best. Little worse. E.g. drying system in the bathroom took a long time to dry up. Bidet function in toilet was full of dirt. Light in the room wasn’t good enough. It was dark 4) this room is not for you if you have Standard Baggage (>160cm) this is what I needed to be warned up before coming. There was no space to open and repack my baggage. 5) washing. I used Dryer for 1.5h and my clothes kept being wet. I wouldn’t recommend using this function. 6) location. Really hard to say. On the other hand it’s very convenient location, very close to all the destinations wherever you want to go. I travelled the whole city on my foot. Pizza place, 7/11 vegan restaurants were very close too. From the other hand, I’m very conservative person who likes everything to be clean, accurate and and nobody disturbes me and I don’t disturb anybody. This location just reminded me of my disgusting stay in New York. It was the same dirty as there was. People kept smoking even directly on my face, a lot of garbage. And a lot of S*x motels, prostitution are near by. I was shocked badly. I would say that it was the dirtiest street in Osaka I met. 6) I heard some noise coming from the window. There were people who were totally drunk and they made much noise till the late morning.

Best location

located about 10 min walk to Shinsaibashi area, and 2 major metro lines in Osaka. spotlessly clean and there were some eateries, convenient stores across the street and a short walk. Also the washing machines and dryers.

The room is clean & cozy. Staffs are nice. Not too far from dotonbori and have many things to eat around the hotel.

The room is small for two people with big luggages (but I think it'd be alright if I had only one backpack).

the a/c worked and the room was pretty spacious.

the water tank downstairs looked pretty moldy and dirty you can see the tube inside that goes into the water tank doesn’t look tempting to drink from. The dryer didn’t dry clothes even after 1 hour and 30 minutes in the machine. the foyer was very humid/hot no a/c. One time I lost my key card and the asked me to sit and wait for over 10 minutes cause there was one person working and there was no one else in the lobby.

The room was conveniently located to Shinsaibashi/Dotonbori and had everything we needed for a short stay. It is directly opposite to a 7 11, and is also a 1 minute walk from the nearest subway station. It is also a English-speaker friendly hotel, which was very much appreciated.

The rooms were very small (which I understand is typical of Japan), but it was still difficult to store two medium sized suitcases in a manner for easy access. We ended up pushing the single beds together so we could create some more space. The bathroom was also quite small, and when having a shower/bath, it got quite humid and stuffy due to poor ventilation.

The location is good nearby metro station and a lot eatery places around.

The cleaning service need to improve further. The table and mini fridge top were dusty when we checked into the room. The room was also very small and there's limited place to put our luggage.

The bed was firm and comfortable, and the toilet was clean and cosy. We got a nice room that was quiet and had a bathtub for our honeymoon, which we loved. There were umbrellas for rent that were big and nice on rainy days. The coin laundry and dryer were affordable and a pleasant surprise to use, as well as the free ice dispenser with perfect ice cubes. Toiletries were sufficient and of good quality, and there was also an ATM machine to exchange notes, and a 24 hour 7-11 opposite the hotel which was very convenient.

The fridge was not cold enough, so we used ice cubes to make it cooler. The pillows were abit flat, would be better to have more support.
