Great place for a family

Really liked having facilities that were included in the price. Tennis, putting, swimming pool, gym etc

The kitchen needed scissors and baking trays. Also wasn't encouraged to recycle, no idea how to recycle or what to do. A few light bulbs needed replacing and doors/drawers were very difficult to open.

Superb

I loved the service, everyone made sure we had everything we needed and if not more. Cleaners were very fast and efficient with our two day stay, I would definitely recommend for couple trip or otherwise a family

Everything was perfect but hopefully they will open up the bar/restaurant sometime soon again

Location ok, room ok nothing wow

Spa in the room soon as water was let into the spa outlets small cockroach dried started floating out of the inlet. Shower tiles at the bottom haven't been cleaned for years. The pool, never went. Kids constantly there till 8 pm. Maybe an adult only 6 to 8 pm would be appreciated. Reality wanted to enjoy it. Pillows all dead. The place that needs renovation, in NZ folks rate it a 4 in Europe would be a 2 maybe 1.its more like motel quality very honestly

We both loved it and thought everything was totally worth it the space, everything!

Room was really nice and well equiped with all necessities. The spa was a wonderful touch to our romantic getaway we didn’t visit the pool but I love all the different activities that was available for all guest to use.

Hmm nothing much tbh this will be my go to everytime I come here!

We've stayed in other exec rooms at the regal but this one was pretty average

crack in the rubbish bin, only had rain shower, noisy fridge, tissues were stuffed into the box and wouldn't come out.

A perfect place to relax and unwind, while also providing a great base for venturing out to Rotorua attractions.

It’s a very well set up complex, with plenty of activities available and a great outdoor heated pool and sauna.

Can’t wait to stay again

As soon as we arrived there was an instant sense of comfort. Perfect for being able to relax. Staff were helpful whenever needed as well

Not necessarily didn’t like but having Netflix or such apps would be cool! Also the bathroom floor can be a little slippery so potentially some rubber mats to put down to avoid slipping over

Lovely accomodation, however lacking customer service

The room was modern, clean and spacious. The beds were comfy. We were allowed early check in for our toddler to sleep which was very much appreciated.

Staff were fairly rude on check in which was not our usual experience when we stay here. I feel it is because we queried a discount for the heated pool being out of action. The heated pool was a huge part of why we had booked this accomodation in Winter so we were disappointed it wasn’t working (but understood it was not their fault). We were however paying a premium rate to stay there and now had the added expense of having to pay for 6 people to swim elsewhere. They offered no option or solution, no discount when asked. We were told we could cancel or pay full rate. This was the day before our stay so no time to find somewhere else for that many people so we’re left with no option but to stay and pay full rate. I will say staff in check out were much more friendly. When you book 5 star and pay $670 a night for a stay, I would have hoped for better customer service when one of their main facilities breaks down. This has put me off staying again.

Great value for a couple, clean & today & good facilities.

The only thing I would have changed in the room is the 2 chairs for a couch & a bigger tv would be good too. & for the second time in 1 year the pools heating wasn’t working but we didn’t have kids this time so the spa bath was great but you should let people know if the pool heating is not working, especially in the winter. Other that that would still come back.

Could do with an additional mirror so can get close enough to put on makeup/earrings without glasses on, and the bed was a tad too firm.

Exceptional

This resort had everything we needed for a family getaway, my family enjoyed the tennis court and mini-golf, our Luxury room spa was absolutely huge! We had 2 nice and big TV's, the space in the one bedroom luxury apartment was generous, such a peaceful resort we will definitely be staying here every time we visit.

The pool was under maintenance so it was not heated when we visited - unlucky

The spa is enormous! Superb bathroom. Quiet room and spacious.

The bed was a little uncomfortable. Needs a sofa in the room.
