The bed was very comfortable and the room was very spacious. The breakfast is also very good.

Wi-Fi signal is weak in the room

The room was modern and spacious, even with air conditioning. The hotel was quiet and our baby of 10 month slept perfectly. Usually we never book breakfast and just find something outside but in this case we are glad we last minute decided to add breakfast to our booking. It was very clean and there was definitely something for everyone. We would come back here anytime.

The room was unique and nice.

The bathroom was separated from the main room by a GLASS sliding door. There is a big window in the small bathroom where the sun directly shines early in the morning. It was impossible to keep the room dark, i woke up shortly after 5AM and i couldn't sleep anymore. The whole room was illuminated, putting something in front of the windows in the main room had no effect because of that intelligently placed GLASS door between the bathroom and main room. Also the room was directly at the main street - even with earplugs after wakening up due the sunlight it was impossible to find any peace again. I also was displeased that there was no reception, it was over 30 degree hot and nobody answered the bell. I had to call the number on the door two times to get somebody on the line who told me the PIN code for the doors. I had PAYED in advanced - they could have just sent this info to me before OR at least an information that i don't have to expect any reception service.

Great for a quick business trip. Stayed there with my wife for a single night. The corner room is really spacious and has a large bathtub, which was a great addition. Ostrich fixtures were pretty fun too.

There is a general smell of water damage in the main stairwell. That may be off-putting for first-time arrivals.

Great hotel right next to Messe Essen (fairgrounds). Walking distance 10min.

Location and room quality

Check in needs improvement,we were a little late and there is no reception so think this hotel would benefit by improving their checkin/entry arrangements.

No parking on site, breakfast is very basic
