Friendly and well located

It's my second time here and it was as good as I remembered, good wifi, good location and friendly staff!

Wanted to upgrade my room but they wanted to charge me the full price of the room on top of what I've had already paid

L'hotel si trova a 10min a piedi da Shibuya. Gli spazi sono molto stretti, la camera era veramente piccolissima, ma offre tutto quello di cui si ha bisogno. Lo staff è super gentile e disponibile. Perfetto per qualche notte.

I would never return

The location is good.

The staff is not insterested at all in anything if you ask them for sth. .. you see that‘s there is now owner there and no management. This hostel is only for making money and so they are doing the absolut minimum in everything. The cleaning is not a real cleaning, it‘s only changing sheets but nothing else, our room was quite dirty with a lot of dust everywhere and also on the whole floor they never (!) cleaned anything in the 10 days we were there. The kitchen, fridge, microwave nothing of it was ever cleaned out. Even the shower it didn‘t feel that they were even cleaning it properly the products of the people were always there and also the toilet was only cleaned the minimum. Then the washing mashine & dryer the same they are only here so they can say they have one and make money but it‘s never cleaned and now coins available! then the saddest is the entrence where you could do an inviting hangout area which it is clearly not and the kitchen on each floor neither so you have really tiny rooms and no place to chill..! The private room seem more spacious on the pictures! In reality you don‘t have any space for your luggage! There is a bunk bed and 1m2 for the luggage and for yourself you cannt enter in 2 at the same time if there is luggage there.

Great stay! Friendly staff and perfect location.

This is my second time staying here. The location is awesome. It’s an easy walk into the hustle and bustle, with amazing restaurants, shops and the famous Shibuya Crossing. Internet worked really well. Great facilities at your bunk, including USB charger, light and locker for valuables. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

The room was pretty tight. We struggled to get our suitcases in. My friend slept with hers in her bed. But if you’re not fussy or short trip, wouldn’t be too much of an issue.

I’d stay here again but only in a private room.

The private room was excellent! The Wise owl would have gotten 100% if not for the shared dorms odor and blood on the floor near bunks 13 & 14. Overall I’ll stay again but only in a private room.

Shared Dormitory cleanliness level was a sharp contrast to their private rooms.

Nice stay hostel

The bunk beds were actually very spacious and the same with the shower areas. There was also a small locker inside the bunk bed which we were not expecting but was very nice surprise. The food in the lounge below was also very good and the staff also, so we enjoyed the stay very much.

Our bunk beds were un the middle of the corridor, so it became a bit difficult to manage the space to put our things so we could get things from the luggage and not occupy space for other people to pass.. and the curtains were a bit broken and not closing everything and the light was weak inside the bunk bed and was hard to enter to turn it on and of. Very small details, but could have been better if this we add more space to put our luggage and keep it open and the light switch closer to the entrance of the beds.

The staff were hard working and friendly. The location was a small distance walk to Shibuya Station. It was clean.

After sleeping on the beds for six nights I was quite sore haha

Great place if on a budget. A little cramped.

Great little place to stay if your planning to be in the area. Not too far from Shibuya. Small open kitchen, showers and washrooms. Towel included. Cafe downstairs. Great view if you're on the higher floors.

There is no policy for taking off shoes and slippers cost ¥100. The space was a bit cramped. You need to keep your keycard with you otherwise you'll get locked out of the room at night. There was dust in my cupboard.

Superb

10-15 min walk from Shibuya crossing but there’s also a bus that gets you there quicker. The hostel is clean and has laundry and cooking facilities which is great. Couldn’t hear the traffic despite a busy nearby motorway.

The common space is a restaurant until 9pm so not usable unless you eat there. The private bunk bed rooms are very tight. I knew this going in though and therefore it doesn’t affect my rating much.

Nice stay and friendly staffs

They have ACs so it’s good for sleeping at night. Staffs here are really friendly and helpful.

The location is a bit far from the station (like 10-15 mins).

I cannot recommend Wise Owl Hostels Shibuya. I only stayed for 2 nights and was relieved to leave.

Location is relatively close to Shibuya

The public areas were not clean. Bad smell in the elevator and garbage on the balcony. The smell from the downstairs kitchen spread also in the guest rooms. I found a used tissue when I took the covers off my bed and someone else's hair. Hair was in the sink at all times of the day. The staff was not particularly warm, genuine or friendly. There was a huge pile of unorganized garbage behind the hostel. The hostel's balcony gives on a big highway and the noise from the cars is loud. I would not recommend Wise Owl Hostels Shibuya.

I really enjoyed my stay, the staff is super kind & friendly and I'm recommending this hostel to a lot of friend

The location is near a couple of train stations and it's just outside the city centre so it is not that busy.

Close to shibuya main avenue, the beds were comfy enough, the showers really clean and great , the host were friendly enough and speak English so no issues with communication.

The reservation system has a bag that you can fill your arrival time 11pm but actually the check in time is until 9pm. I cloud not reach out by the time so I needed reserve another hotel unfortunately.

Very poor

Staff was nice.

There were long-staying costumers, and they were chatting all night long. I couldn’t sleep well.They behaved like their own house. It was also messy with their belongings.

Fantastic location, extremely clean and well-maintained hostel

The hostel is so clean - I was especially impressed by the bathrooms. The capsule is small but very comfortable and functional. Each bed has its own light and plugs.

Checkin closes at 9pm - it is clearly advertised when booking, and you are given a checkin reminder on the day of arrival. We had to rush to make it in time because our flight was delayed, but luckly I made it just in time!

This hostel have a good price for traveler (not expensive like the other hotel in Tokyo). The bad & room is clean & the staff in the cafe inside this hostel is so beautiful.

amazing

the staff is amiable and the room was nice and clean even though I chose the shared room with 6 bunk beds. I also like the idea that we have to take off the linen by ourselves prior to check out, I mean, this ensures me that all the linens are new and freshly washed.

nothing so far. maybe a slight control to open the window for circulation might be great. but I was renting the shared room, so I don't think I can adjust it freely. Also, unfortunately, the restaurant didn't open in the morning, so I did not get the chance to try it out.
