Superb

We booked a queen room with a spa bath, it was an amazing choice. We had an amazing sea view from our room. The bath (I wouldn't call it a bath, more like a private jacuzzi/onsen) was definitely the main attraction for us. The room was huge!!! And decorated with an Asian style, we really liked it. The bed was super comfortable, in front of a smart TV with Netflix option. The hotel and reception staff were very nice, available and accommodating for us. Room service at the highest level. Great restaurant and laundry services.

The location is not so ideal, there is a walk of almost 10 minutes from the room to the main road. There is hot water, but for the huge jacuzzi we had, the hot water was not really enough. And you have to call the reception so that they send someone to drain all the water because it is impossible to do it from the room. It is important for me to note that the place was amazing and these are quite minor things that did not detract from the great experience we had.

Despite the hill to the property, once there its paradise.

Staff excellent and spoke good English, offered a free shuttle service from the pier to the hotel and additional shuttle services when required to take my daughter up quite a large hill, which was difficult because she had a broken foot. What I liked most was all the sounds from the local wildlife. Constantly making a variety of noises. Felt really tranquil and at one with nature. We loved the Minor bird which spoke very well :-)

Only one issue was the property is on top of a large hill, however I would still book this accommodation again because everything else made up for this. The hotel staff were excellent and I couldn't fault them. Thank you for your hospitality. Id definitely book here again.

A good hotel.

We love the overall feel and vibe of the hotel. The view from our room was amazing. The food and drink was really nice and a good price. Breakfast especially was lovely. All the staff were really great. Overall a good midrange hotel.

It was fine for us because we rented a moped (which staff kindly helped us sort out) but there is a decent hill to climb.

Amazing and magical place

I spent several days in a very cozy bungalow with the sea view. Everything was great: spacious room, very comfortable bed and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel itself is a little paradise with Buddhist statues around, spectacular views, birds singing all day long and blooming trees everywhere. The staff is very friendly and helpful, always there to answer any question or help with directions and places to visit. The location is great too: 7 minutes from Haad Rin and around 7-10 min from Rin Nai Beach which is great for sunsets. Overall I highly recommend staying in this hotel!

Good hotel with great location

Perfect location, staff friendly and helpful. Nice Pool to relax! Great View since its up on a hill. They even offered free shuttle to Haad Rin Pier. We enjoyed our stay Very much!

The room Was a bit old. It was really dark, the sink didnt really work and the shower was a bit hard to handle - it was was either really hot or cold, nothing in between. But once we got used to it it was ok:)

The place is excellent, the room is big and everything is very clean, the view is stunning. The staff are smiling and very helpful and make you feel very welcome. I will be back for sure.

Exceptional

The family that run the hotel are lovely, really welcoming and friendly and extremely helpful. The full English breakfast was brilliant and the views from our room were stunning. The location was perfect for the full moon party which is just a few minutes walk yet away from the madness so quiet when you get back, perfect for those want to that party yet get a good night's sleep after. The surroundings were lovely, fantastic views of the quiet beach and very green it was like being in the jungle, the wildlife sounds coming from the trees are a treat. However, don't be shy with the mosquito repellent! Overall a fabulous stay in a great location with lovely hosts.

There's a few hills to get too it, great on a bike not so great on foot. The hotel is a little tired and would be even better if renovated, however , there were lots of new tiles and furniture on site so maybe that's the plan. Our room was really dark.

Koh Phangan will always be our first choice of an island vacation in Thailand.

The room has seen better days and can do with some repair and upgrade, however the big matured trees on the compound are a gem and the rustling sound it makes was very romantic, relative to personal preference of course. If one appreciates wood, the furniture are of nice aged solid wood although the overall feel is a little dark. The staff Emway and View speak fluent English and obliged us with our request for a cake as a surprise for our friend. They also recommended a tour that offers much more than the one we chose, we greatly appreciated that.

Initially, I hated the climb to the resort but I soon found out many resorts are perched on rocks and the reward is the view then.

Old room, amazing staff and view

The staff was so friendly and everytime we needed something (see next paragraph) they were able to assist us imediatly, always with a smile. The room itself was big. Breakfast was as good as it can get. Versatile and of high quality. The view from our room was breathtaking!! Simply magnificant. Location was great as long as you don't mind the walk up the hill, and seek some distance from the noise.

The room felt old. Some of the stuff seemed unclean or a bit broken. The general feeling was staying at your grandmother's house (assuming she has amazing ocean view...). The room didn't have a safe when we checked in. We asked for one and they did put it in the room for us, but it wasn't bolted to anything, which kind of beats the purpose. The fridge didn't work and omitted a horrible smell when opened. The air conditionner was dripping but when we complained it was fixed instantly, even though it was late. The bed felt very stiff for us. The room was a bit dark. We would probably never mention any of the above if it was by itself, but having all those issues at once made us feel like the place needs a renovation or at least a maintance.

FANTASTIC

fantastic hotel, completely in the middle of nature. what about the view ... fantastic. facing the sea with the sound of the waves that makes you feel totally relaxed. very kind staff, it was like being in the family! hearty and delicious breakfast included! always available to help you. we will definitely come back to this amazing resort! a piece of our heart remains in ko phangan! thanks for everything . See you soon .

location and the beach view are amazing.

the hotel is on the top mounting and there is no shuttle to take your luggage you have to walk hard to go up. but good experience.
