Pure joy

Everything. Stuff was very welcoming and responsive. The place is quite, relaxing and surrounded by the nature. Absolutely fantastic place!

Food in the restaurant could been better, but at least there are other restaurants nearby.

fantastic value and one of the most authentic parts of our trip- stay here at least two days to take it all in!

Stunning location in the north near Aling Aling waterfall. the restaurant has stunning views we enjoyed everyday during breakfast. more of an authentic Bali vibe here with close to a village. We took the trek into the forest by a guide who also worked at the hotel called Wili - very informative and you could feel what the forest meant to him as he prayed and gave gratitude at each sight of natural beauty- this included seeing and swimming at the waterfalls - deffo deffo do this!! Room was massively spacious and decent facilities given the price. The staff were lovely and genuinely lovely people. We enjoyed our stay, Deffo worth the trip up and we’d recommend staying here two days.

Amazing location, I was there only for 1 night, but I'd definitely come back for a longer stay

LOCATION!!! amazing views, so much greenery and the sound of waterfalls and a river clean rooms comfortable beds big infinity pool overlooking the jungle (in February we had it all for ourselves) tasty food

After checking out staff asked me to pay for my stay AGAIN saying they don't accept payments on Booking (I'd already paid full price many weeks prior on Booking and there was no information about online payments being unavaliable, so payment was complited with no problems whatsoever). In the end, after showing confirmation of payment both on booking and in my banking app and few phone calls from the staff to some other people, it all ended well with just me leaving them my contact info, but the whole situation was nerve wrecking and time consuming. Nevertheless I'd definitely visit again if I go to Bali for the second time, the views and the nature are worth it, even with some payment misunderstandings :)

Everything was extraordinary! The pool with a spectacularly view to the dungel and waterfall. The breakfast and the restaurant was so far the best in Bali.

Great place to stay for more than one night

We liked everything and we would like to come back for more nights the next time. The staff is very kind and upgraded us to a better room with an amazing view of the valley and a waterfall because we were on our honeymoon. The room was big with a huge comfortable bed. It had a nice terrace were you could have any meal you wanted - we had our breakfast. We had to leave early the next day and they brought us the breakfast to our room earlier than the normal hour. They also came to help with the luggage when our driver arrived without us asking for it. The pool is big and clean with an awesome view and you can enjoy drinks and food from the restaurant. We also had dinner there and it was very good.

the peace and serenity, surrounded by luxurious tropical gardens the staff were all really friendly and helpful.

the location in the hills was ideal if you were just happy to relax, but for people wanting more activity it might be frustrating

great stay!

it was just amazing. the accomodation is quiet, very clean and very comfortable. and this all for a great value. from here you can visit various waterfalls, go to rice fields or just hang out at the pool. the view for the breakfast is also very calming. Also one employee helped us immediately when we had a little incident and didn’t want to charge us anything.

I didn’t like the food that much, it was expensive and not really tasty. the chicken soup had almost no taste. we rather ordered grab food and it was cheaper and way more tasty. please be careful of one guy of the personell, he wanted to convince us to take a guide for the waterfalls and also charged us for a little bit of laundry >150k. I didn’t want to fight cause the overall experience was great.

as usual, beautiful property and stunning veiws,

great location, obviously as a repeat customer and being there a few times now the repeat custom should speak for its self.

I cant understand how a hotel of the stature of Shanti cannot make a bed correctly? every time i stay i have to turn the duvet around! What is the reason why the open end of the duvet cover is orientated towards the headboard? Its very annoying.

Just awesome!

This place is a true hidden gem. View from the room was... breathtaking. Staff was very friendly. The room was sparkling clean. Breakfast was delicious with an enormous mountains view. Swimming pool is huge with - again - great view. I can’t recommend this place enough! Just visit it 😊

Unbeatable view, friendly and helpful stuff.

The room is incredible. very comfortable bed. very cozy bathroom. and the terrace with the view.... is simply a WOW. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. the meals are tasty. this hotel is definitely one of the best in the area, if not simply The Best.

everything was great. the only complaint I had was the cleaning stuff swiping in front of our at 7 in the morning, but the manager assured me the feedback will be taken in note and they will change that. The bath towels need to be changed to get to the level of the room.

Good hotel for a stopover

The view of the jungle. The staff were very helpful and tried to make our one night stay as nice as possible. A very good and big breakfast with an amazing view! Amazing garden!!

The bungalows close to the pool are the better ones. We had adjoining rooms (but with no adjoining doors) right off the parking - which was not as nice... So go with the pool rooms.

would have been nice to have provided bathrobes and slippers. also suggest that water be provided in glass refillable bottles rather than plastic
