Lovely and nostalgic

A beautiful place with a spirit as Italy once was, very nostalgic and lovely. The owner is very welcoming and makes you feel as at home. The hotel is very well positioned.

If you carry a big luggage, climbing stairs may be challenging as there is a narrow stairway.

so perfect, location was 11/10 and the owner was wonderful- please try the restaurant below the food was amazing!

the room was so so much more than we expected, bigger than the photos made it out to be, the owner/host was a beautiful lady who was one of the most hard working ladies we’ve ever met! the bed was so comfortable and the wifi was great! although there was no air con there was a fan that worked honestly perfectly!

Value Hotel Worth Staying At.

This is a value hotel in a 5 star neighborhood. My room had a lake view and was walking distance to everything, including the ferry. The entire staff are very friendly and helpful.

I would have preferred a softer bed and pillows, but that is just personal preference.

We will come back!!

Right in the middle of Menaggio, cute little town. Less busy than Bellagio or Como. We had a partial view on the lake, room with balcony. The owner is lovely as is her little restaurant. Comfy bed and spacious room. Thank you for the great stay :)

Great location & lovely host

The hotel is very well located. Our room was on the top floor with a lovely view. The restaurant downstairs has very good food. The host was nice and kind.

The walls between the rooms are thin, so we could hear our neighbors. But at night, we had no problems sleeping.

We could see a portion of the lake from our window that was very pretty

No breakfast. Location was very nice.

The room, quite small, was up 2 flights of stairs with no elevator and no fridge or breakfast.

Beautiful little hotel in a beautiful town

I love this place ! We'll definitely come back - this is now my go-to place in Menaggio. It may not be deluxe, but it has all you need. The hostess is lovely, comfortable beds, fantastic evening meals (you need to book in the morning), brilliant location, good price. What's not to love?

Everything was good. NB - no lift (which was no problem for us)

Very good

The hotel was in an excellent location and the owners went out of their way to help me. Although a single room the bed was a small double and the shower room was fine. The restaurant was very good.

good location, clean but very basic, good if your on a budget, wouldn’t stay again.

bed was comfy, great location.

no lift, building very shabby, rooms were small and basic, no air con, bathrooms were very small and very tired.

Loved our stay here, fantastic location with easy access to everything.

Fantastic location and staff. Authentic Italian lake accomodation - simple and straightforward.

Pillows were a little bit firm and high for me, but that is just a personal preference.

Nice hotel !

Nice clean small hotel in the center of Menaggio with a partial view on the lake. Friendly management. Clean rooms, though not luxurious.

Very good

The location was amazing. We loved how it was just right next to every in Menaggio.

We knew this going in our stay that there wasn't any air conditioning in. Unfortunately we stayed during a heat wave which made it pretty difficult to sleep despite the fan that was provided.

Despite the noise, we had an excellent stay! :)

The service! Our host was very kind. Also, the location was perfect.

I must say, the room was really, REALLY, noisy. We could hear everything from downstairs and, and also upstairs.

Nice hotel for a stay in Menaggio!

The localization is excelent, right in the city center. We also had dinner one night at the hotel restaurant and the food was very good, very tasty tipical italian pasta. I recommend this place for a weekend stay in Menaggio.

Lovely hotel with stunning view !

The hosts were extremely friendly and helped us with every question we had. The restaurant of the hotel was delicious! The room basic but the view is just outstanding! Now considering the low price it is a must book!

Great and friendly!

The location was prime! Great placement in the heart of everything!

The room had a view at the neighbouring building unlike in the ad, the bed was a bit small, and the facilities were a bit lacking.

Very good

Really pretty and family run, the restaurant downstairs was good for food too

As it was during a quieter time after covid, Menaggio was pretty quiet. A bit too quite for me and would have rathered stay in Bellagio or Varenna, but that’s just preference. Nothing against this property at all as family were great. Extra €5 a night for a room with lake view which wasn’t aware of on booking.com

Place to return

Perfect location, very nice owners and good atmosphere. Cosy room with a small balcony and lake view. Great kitchen downstairs, recommended to make reservation to get a table for diner.

The only thing lacked was air conditioner in a hot summer day.
