Well equipped, very comfortable. Good location.

Cow paraphernalia everywhere made the place feel very cluttered. Glass display cabinet crammed full of ornaments and china plus stuff hanging from the ceilings added to the feeling. 'Cow theme' very much over done! Lots of drawers and storage space was full of linens etc etc so not enough room for my clothes.

Unique place to stay. Beautiful cow-themed cottage with cosy gas stove, comfy furniture and easy parking. Everything done to a high standard to guarantee an enjoyable stay.

The place was pleasant and cosy and the bed for us was very comfortable.

We enjoyed the offer of travel to some really wonderful towns to visit of which we made the most of.

No WiFi as a business man working and holidaying I needed to keep track of my business and the reception was not good. I cannot blame the owner for that but WiFi would be a plus.

Everything you needed for a comfortable week's stay. Plenty of kitchen equipment, everything had been thought of. Very convenient location for walking into Penrith centre and for access to Lake District. A good amount of information provided.

Would have liked better lighting especially in kitchen. Needed more space in chest of drawers in bedroom (most drawers full of blankets etc. We felt the cow-related and other ornaments/pictures/hangings etc were starting to take over!
