The sparkling private pool and generous pool deck allows for hours of relaxation or play time under the protected covered patio or sunning out in the open salt air. The house comes well-equipped with many complementary amenities for guests to enjoy during their stay such as bicycles, stand up paddle board, beach chairs, umbrellas, pool toys, etc. Built in 2014, this three-story, elevator-equipped, beach house features seaside vacationing at its finest! Offering professional gourmet kitchen with upgraded appliances including large wine fridge to cook and entertain. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: Main living floor offers 2 queen en-suites with a shared terrace. The top floor offers an amazing King Master Suite with a luxurious bath, walk in closet and private reading and TV area, as well as an over sized Gulf Front Veranda. On the other side of the upstairs there is another King room as well as a kid’s room. These two rooms share a full bath. The kid’s room has a bunk bed w/ trundle, including 1 twin, 1 full and a full trundle, all together the kid’s room will sleep up to 5. All in all, the home will sleep 12 and along with the optional blow up queen mattress for a total of 14. For your added convenience, one of the 5 full baths is located near the pool and the property includes an elevator for easy access to all floors. Additionally, the house is within walking distance to plenty of great restaurants, pizza parlors, ice cream shops and surf shops as well as several parks and playgrounds to delight all ages. For those that want to venture further, Clearwater Beach and John’s Pass Village and Boardwalk (Madeira Beach) are each a short drive away (about 20 mins each), and Busch Gardens/Tampa are both just under an hour. At the Mermaid’s Lair, you are sure to have the vacation of a lifetime and make many lasting memories, beckoning you to return again and again. *The fireplace in the Master Suite is currently not available. The house was absolutely perfect for our group of 9, ranging in age from 11 months to 65. The house did not lack in anyway. We would rent it again in a heartbeat. There's 2 washer and dryers for beach towels (included) and regular clothes/towels, 2 dishwashers, the beach is your backyard, and the hot tub got plenty warm. There were more then enough pool/beach toys, umbrellas and beach chairs. Although a high chair and pack n play are included, we did rent 2 cribs, an additional high chair and some beach wagons from BabyQuip (Karin Villa) right nearby

The house is fantastic. We enjoyed the location with its view, beach, pool and neighborhood very much. The building was clean, the kitchen very well equipped and the view at sunset spectacular (on any floor and balcony). The rooms are nice and you can host easily 10 people. The only "downside" was that none of the tables (inside / outside) has more than 6 chairs; if you improvise you can sit with a party of 9 outside on the deck. There are lots of beach toys for the kids, chairs for the beach, umbrellas. We lacked nothing - a true 5-star feedback.

This was the perfect vacation home for our family! The layout, the views, the kitchen and the outside spaces were all so well thought out. If we were to design our own vacation home, we would model it off of this. The home was very clean, had everything we needed in terms of appliances and necessities, and the sports equipment available to us was an added bonus! The management company was quick to respond to the one problem they were aware of when we checked in. Having the beach just steps out the back door was a huge plus. The only negative we experienced was the spotty wifi and cell service on the property. However, this will not deter us from renting here again. We hope to be back again soon!

This is an amazing house with views, a spacious pool and room to spread out for our family of 12. The kitchen was great for cooking and 2 dishwashers was convenient. The small office was a surprise and nice to have. Had some difficulty operating the electric blinds but they are nice to have especially when the sun is at a certain angle. Beds in the bunk room made a squeaky noise because of the mattress covers. And did not realize there is not a full wall between the bunk room and connecting king bedroom. Adding the extra wall instead of an accordion divider would make the space perfect for a family to have more privacy. 2 washers and dryers was nice to wash beach towels in the garage and other clothes upstairs. Wish the master bathroom had more division with a powder room but guess it’s the open modern style. It is a beautiful home on a quiet street and we hope to visit again!

I grew up in Tampa and we rented every summer on this beach. I was thrilled to show my husband and friends our beautiful beaches. I’m an avid cook and chose the house for the kitchen. There was nothing that this property lacked. It was exactly as advertised and was everything that you could possibly want...beautiful beach, beautiful pool/decks, beautiful modern home. Spent an enjoyable week here with our children and grandchildren. Everything was perfect. Absolutely loved sitting on the Master Bedroom deck each evening feeling the breeze and listening to the waves.
The area itself is perfect....small town area but close enough to get ot anything you could want to do.
Just loved it...been home 1 day and missing it so much already!!

This was our second visit to this beautiful home for our annual family vacation and once again, it didn't disappoint! The proximity to the ocean is wonderful and with four kids, we made full use of the pool. The kitchen is very well stocked and we ate in every night on the patio enjoying the views. The addition of two ice makers from the previous year was a great upgrade and the five bedrooms allowed us all the space and privacy three families needed. We have already made our reservation for 2023 and cannot wait to return to Mermaid's Lair. Seaside Property Shoppe were very efficient to deal with and we appreciated Taylor bringing us some bags of ice on our arrival when the ice machine in the kitchen had been emptied between guests. They are always very quick to respond to any questions. This is the perfect vacation home!

This home is not only gorgeous, but amazingly accessible! My son is in a wheelchair and staying in this home was truly a vacation! The only part that would present a problem for someone in a power chair is a single step into the home, which can be solved with a portable ramp. This was not a problem as we had a manual chair.
This home is well equipped - we cooked (and baked) quite a bit at home and had everything we needed. It was very clean and comfortable and those views! We enjoyed the sunset and beach everyday!

We had the most wonderful week walking on the beach, hanging in the pool and spa, cooking in the gourmet kitchen, and walking for coffee and ice cream. However, our one bit of constructive feedback is that the master bedroom mattress MUST be replaced. It lacks support and is squeaky, a pretty big disappointment for this luxury rental. We’d definitely consider staying here again, but only if the bed is replaced. Everything else was incredible!

The best accessible property we’ve rented
This home is not only gorgeous, but amazingly accessible! My son is in a wheelchair and staying in this home was truly a vacation! nice stay, very kind for the owners to have provided so many useful items for the beach. couple comments to improve on- the master bed mattress is poor (way too soft/old?) and should be replaced with something suitable. the provided gas grill should be replaced and cleaned more regularly.

Little did we know what a special place it would become for all of us. Every single amenity possible is there. This year we brought a five month old baby along besides our ten year old and seven year old grandkids, and didn’t have to bring a thing. My husband has health problems and the elevator is a godsend. He can feel part of everything that’s going on. The master suite upstairs is spectacular as is the rest of the house. I picture doing a Thanksgiving dinner in that beautiful place someday. In a dream world. We would go back there every month if we could. The owners have decorated it with quality and care and interesting and appropriate and incredible decor. The layout is wonderful, as it is the proximity to everything you could possibly need. But we never leave!
The beach is right there, as is every pool toy, ocean set up need, toys, recreation, bikes, and more. This is a very special home. And when you go there, you get to feel like it’s yours.
