Dieses Hotel ist zwar in die Jahre gekommen aber alleine die Lage ist hervorragend. Wir hatten vom Zimmer aus einen herrlichen Blick auf den Rhein. Die Zimmer sind sauber und es ist alles vorhanden. Das Personal und der Chef sind sehr freundlich und erfüllen jeden Wunsch. Das Frühstück ist das Beste was wir jemals in einem anderen Hotel bekommen haben. Die Brötchen wurden jeden morgen frisch gebacken und waren super lecker. Die Auswahl an Brötchen, Wurst, Käse und allem was zu einem guten Frühstück im Urlaub gehört, war riesig. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Zimmer und Bad war schön, groß, neu und sauber. Ruhiges Zimmer und bequeme Betten. Sehr gutes Frühstück mit Blick auf den Rhein. Fahrräder konnten in einen abgeschlossenen und sehr gut zugänglichen Raum abgestellt werden.

Ich habe hier für eine Nacht auf meiner Wanderung ein kleines Zimmer im 3. Stock gehabt und bin sehr zufrieden. Es war sauber und mit allem eingerichtet, was man benötigt. Ich habe sehr gut geschlafen - mit Blick in den tollen Sternenhimmel. Die Betreiber sind sehr freundlich. Ich habe nun zum 3. Mal hier übernachtet, diesmal habe ich Frühstück dazugebucht. Das war lecker und reichlich. Das Hotel liegt in 1. Reihe an der Promenade, direkt am Rhein mitten im Ort. Preis-Leistung TOP.

Ładny widok z okna na rzekę i kursujące statki. Centralna lokalizacja. Niedaleko skały Loreley i licznych restauracji. Ładnie urządzony pokój, piękne meble i ciekawe oświetlenie, w szczególności przycisk w szafce przy łóżku. Pokój odpowiedniej wielkości. Bardzo czysto. Pozwolono nam przechować rowery w piwnicy. Śniadanie obfite i bardzo dobre. Miła obsługa.

based on some of the comments of former travellers my expectations were not too high. We found the hotel fully renovated. We particularly liked the location. The view from the room on the Rhine river is beautiful. It is a pleasure to sip a coffee and enjoy the view. The chair and the small table in front of the window are excellent for that purpose. The staff is very kind, breakfast is good.

There is nothing we did not like. The lobby is still a bit shabby, probably not yet fully renovated. There is no elevator.

Great location directly facing the Rhine River. The River boat cruise office and departure is directly across the street. It was very reasonably priced for five nights.

Smallest room I had ever stayed in. No a/c which was expected. Very comfortable at night with the window open.

We had a room with a view of the Rhine which was superb. St Goar is only small so everything was in easy reach, including the train station. Breakfast was quite good.

The hotel is unusual and basic.. Paying for the Rhine view is worth it as the rooms at the back look a little dismal..

The Room was spotlessly clean with an open air balcony overlooking the Rhine, comfortable beds ,excellent breakfast, the KD cruise jetty just across the street , quiet peaceful town , a very helpful friendly owner who helped us with tips that saved money & time. Our most memorable stay on our holiday.Enjoyed the evenings watching the boats go by .
