Breakfast was good, pools are very nice. Transport to the town Centre is good. It is a nice relaxing location

This was such a strange experience! I got to the hotel and the lobby was very dark, only the front desk was lit. I told them my name and they asked for my passport, then they called a bellman to take me to my room. I thought it was strange that they did not say any of the “normal” things like “welcome, how was your trip? Here’s the layout of the hotel, if you need anything call” Nothing, they said nothing. I got to my room which was lovely. They gave me a garden balcony room which was enchanting. There were very few people there which made me feel lonely. I had to take a bus to the center of the town to actually see some people, but the bus is inconvenient. I went to the spa and the ladies told me there was a tennis court and several pools at the hotel. I did not know this as they were behind one of the buildings. One would have thought the front desk would have given me a map or had one posted as the hotel should have been proud of their offerings. When I went to breakfast, they told me my room was not listed. They called the front desk and no one answered so I left. The next day I went to buy coffee and they told me to go to the restaurant. I told them I wasn’t listed so I would just rather buy the coffee and not bother anyone. When I left the coffee bar, some people were coming up the stairs and a man bumped me without even apologizing. I began to think I was invisible. When I went to check out there were four people at the desk. I gave the group of three my key and they told me to go stand in line for the one man who was the cashier. They gave him my room number. Without saying anything he printed out my bill. I looked it over and gave him my credit card. Normally in any hotel, they staple all the receipts together and in the best hotels they put them in an envelope. He did nothing he watched me fold all the receipts myself. He never asked me the “normal” things like “how was your stay, do you need a taxi, thank you for staying with us, we hope to s

Gorgeous hotel, staff were so friendly, the pool was beautiful, no views of the sea but it didn’t matter, the flowers and foliage around the property were absolutely divine. Breakfast buffet was more than plentiful and the smoothies and drinks were delicious. It’s a short walk to the main centre of ischia and there are buses if you don’t want to walk. We had an absolutely fantastic time here

Zizi bus could be more reliable but that’s beyond the hotels control!

With 3 pools (2 outdoor) including a rectangular 25m heated outdoor pool this venue definitely caters for swimmers. The complex is large but low profile & not overwhelming though walking from the main building to the dining room can take a few minutes. The breakfast buffet is usual Italian continental style & currently served by staff. My room upgraded to junior suite was large & spacious with lots of storage & had sole access to a large terrace. The location is a c. 20 min slight uphill walk from the port or a quick taxi ride. Before arriving the concierge kindly rang me to explain about availability of ferries from Positano during October so I was able to consider other departure contingencies for Ischia.

On this trip I stayed in 4 hotels & this was the only one where (particularly given the room) there was no comp toiletries - none provided over the 3 nights. I was surprised to find out that cooked omelettes are not available before 8am so for early morning outings that was disappointing. Pool towels incur a €2 charge. While in high season the rooms are likel to be warm & the AC would be used, on my visit in October, the weather was cooler & the room was accordingly cooler & with only summer sheets provided as bedding nights could be chilly. No warm blankets were provided in the room / none in the closets but after enquiring at reception a warm blanket was delivered. The hot water in the shower didn't really get that hot with the hot water that was available taking a few minutes to come through & in that respect the quality of the shower was disappointing.

Balcony-overlooked road but you can't fix that- no big deal - over all stay was great
