Amazing place to stay. Great facilities with personal touches. You get the whole floor to yourself. Close to attractions and subway.
One of the beds needed to be cleaned better, but otherwise, everything was very clean.

Very good
good location, comfortable stay, friendly and responsive host.
could be a bit cleaner, the surfaces were dusty. also plenty of artificial lights shinning at night, especially the emergency exit sign lights up the whole room in green. this is not ok when you want to have a good night sleep.

Very cost-effective, yet the service was good and the room was clean and comfortable!
Fantastic location close to Arashiyama station (easy and cheap direct transit into Osaka, if you wanted to keep base in Kyoto and do both) and the Arashiyama area is very beautiful (everything will be be closed by 0500 though). The host was gracious enough to receive our luggage forwarded by Yamato Transport and deliver straight to our room. Very spacious property, easily had room to open our luggages as needed. Room had cute little origami gifts by the hosts, and we had our towels changed and garbage taken out every 2 days (great service). The drying function of the washing machine is not good, but the room provides plenty of clothes hangers and racks to air dry clothes.
Small thing and maybe we just missed it, but it would’ve been nice if there was some tea or coffee in the room (plenty of bottled water complementary tho).
