Staff is friendly + helpful, rooms are clean +comfortable, the place is a paradise

Beautiful paradise, spacious clean rooms, friendly family of iguanas who also love the lawn & enormous swimming pool + jacuzzi, some rooms have hammocks and terraces. Amazing common areas with full kitchen and lounge

Un descanso tal como lo deseaba

Me gusto y me parece excelente para descansar con familia o amigos. Me interesa poder regresar y disfrutar mas de la alberca, el descanso y las actividades, tener una noche con una botella de vino y poder tener una platica amena.

El desayuno podria ser un poco mas amplio, tener alguna opcion de omelette, huevos al gusto o un sandwich, hotcake. El cafe me gusto aunque a mi acompañante le agrada un poco mas el té. Me gustaria que pudieran tener algun dulce o botana aunque sea un monto adicional al servicio.

Amazing unique property

The pool was amazing! Loved it. We had a super clean room with lots of space and a hammock on one balcony and sun loungers on the other. The staff were lovely. Unique property. Would love to come back.

Fruit was lovely for breakfast but would have preferred a bread offering more often (rather than sweet buns). We did have some bread for breakfast towards the end of our stay.

Superb

Everything was wonderful, beautifully cared for and the entire staff was excellent!! Unfortunately, we did not have hot water. At best, we had slightly lukewarm water for showers, which is somewhat uncomfortable.

Lack of hot water. Also would have loved to have 2 extra sitting chairs on our balcony to accommodate friends coming over to visit.

Casa Villa Magnolia is an exceptionally beautiful and peaceful place in busy La Cruz.

Casa Villa Magnolia is so beautiful. It was our oasis in LaCruz. The staff are kind, professional, and incredibly supportive. We love the unique rooms, the interesting spaces to hang around in, the quiet (relative to other spots in Mexico), the communal breakfast area, the freshly squeezed orange juice, and delicious fruit for breakfast. It feels safe and the outside gate is locked at night. It’s wonderful.

It was hard to resist the morning pastries, but after some time my joints thanked me for passing them up! It would be difficult to find something not to like.

Location was a walking distance to town and to the market.

Showers could be better . And they should have ice available. And the pool could be a little warmer water.

Villa Magnolia is an amazing place for a relaxing tranquil vacation.

We loved everything about Villa Magnolia! The staff, the grounds and pool, the common area and the wonderful palapa guest room that we stayed in were all amazing! Even the other guests we friendly and we enjoyed meeting them. The hounds feel like a botanical bird sanctuary. Our stay could not have been better!

There was not a single thing we didn’t like about Villa Magnolia B&B. It is perfect and oh so “tranquil” of a setting.

It was very comfortable stay with clean room and facilities, nice breakfast and friendly staffs.

The room and the whole village were very clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly and kind. The breakfast was also very nice.

The breakfast included coffee, fresh orange juice, bread and fruits, which are all good, but it would have been even better if egg was included. (What's missing was a bit protein.) Internet connect inside the room was a little weak.

love La cruz and village magnolia was perfect for us - so enjoyed our stay and staff were awesome

quiet, great location, beautiful pool and lounging chairs, great facilities that can be used for all guests

a little awkward to enter at night - padlock on gate was tricky to work sometimes - access to the walk-in door instead of only drive through would have been more convenient but was definitely manageable

Superb

The breakfast was adequate but wasn't sustaining for the entire morning. The facilities were beautiful and very relaxing. Just far enough off the main road so you couldn't hear the road noise but close enough to be very accessible.

A cute quiet getaway

We’re here off season. We have the place to ourselves (4 of us). The grounds and pool are kept up, everything is clean. We had a nice continental breakfast of fresh fruit, fresh juice, coffee and pastries. We have a car and was able to park secured on property. It’s a smaller place so even if they were booked full, it wouldn’t feel crowded. I love the colorful room and tiles. We had a refrigerator, coffee maker with coffee and TV and free WiFi. I found our stay here to be very relaxing.

Excellent, relaxing stay!

The location and pool were beautiful and the fresh fruit for breakfast was delicious. The iguanas on the property were an added bonus!

No real complaints! The bathroom was not completely sealed off from the bedroom but it was not a big deal
