This Channel Island Harbor home is the perfect place for a water-loving family or a close group of friends. Spend warm summer days relaxing on the beach at Oxnard Beach Park, a short one-and-a-half-mile drive from the house. There you can do all sorts of oceanfront activities, from swimming and sunbathing to picnicking. If swinging a golf club is more your style, Seabee Golf Course is just one and a half miles down the road. Want to escape the city? The town of Ojala is a quick 25-mile journey and hosts several hiking trails and even hot springs! Take a seat on the expansive back deck with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and watch the boats go by on the water as you soak up the California sunshine. Take in a dip from the swimming dock. The views continue inside the home through large windows, so you can enjoy the scenery even as you cook in the full kitchen or watch TV in the living room. THINGS TO KNOW The fireplace is currently out of commission. This vacation rental is not equipped with air-conditioning. Please note that parties are not allowed at this home and that there is a strict 10 p.m. noise ordinance. Any noise disturbances after 10 p.m. will result in a fine. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Dock details: Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. We loved the location and views of the harbor from back deck and comfort of the home. Loved being able to walk to so much,pizza, sushi and amazing breakfast at Mrs. Olson‘s.

Our stay at this property was both memorable and relaxing. The house was clean, well-lit and comfortably fit our family of eight (2 seniors, 4 adults, 2 kids). There was plenty of space for group activities (board games, karaoke, foosball, etc.) and alone time to happen simultaneously. The “wow” factor here was the harbor view, which offered us hours of watching boats, kayakers and paddle boaters float by. As listed, the home had no A/C but it was never an issue, even during our trip in early August. Check-in was a breeze; it’s near plenty of shops, restaurants and the beach. We hope to return to the property someday soon.

We loved being on the marina and having easy access to kayaking deep-sea fishing and other water activities. The house is rather old and there were several things that we found didn’t really work like the patio cover, the refrigerator was tough to close all the way, there was a Foos ball table but no Foos ball, and everything was just needing to be updated. But we enjoyed our time nonetheless and would consider returning to the harbor in the future.

My group of six senior women LOVED this property, and we hope to return in the future. The view is unsurpassed, and the close proximity to stores, restaurants and the beach makes it a very convenient location, as well. All of the beds were comfy and two bedrooms even have a water view. We used the kitchen for easy breakfasts and lunches and then ate out each night. We had everything we needed! Wish we could stay a bit longer...

Place had lots of little things that needed fixing. Felt in need of attention to detail: lights, showers,cleaning. Family had fun. Kayaks should have been included. Fireplace should have worked.

We had such a good time at this beautiful home in a beautiful location (although we wished we could use the electric boat and kayaks).
The main drawback for something at this price is the fact that you have to do quite a bit of cleanup at check out.

The view! Loved the wholesome neighborly feel and the whole summertime vibe with all the party boats, paddleboarders and Kayaks, Good to know there is a couple of places where you can rent them yourself. You can even rent a water taxi and join the parade! I liked to walk along the walkways in the marina on either side of the bridge and check out all the happenings. Toppers is right behind the Firestation across the street and it's the only one right on the water. If you like walking, cross the bridge and there is a little walkway that takes you straight to the beach. Check out the Sunday Farmers market, lots of fun stuff going on besides produce.

We loved the house’s large communal gathering spaces: living room, dining room, kitchen, and best of all: big outdoor deck on the waterway. It worked great for our family gathering of nine. My only true complaint was that we received the wrong door-opening-instructions on our arrival which was stressful after a long day of travel, but it was remedied quickly and we were inside within 15 minutes. All in all a fantastic stay.

We are just pulling out of the rental. Here are some things to mention after you let them know their home was beautiful and comfortable and we'd love to come back again. The trash cans and cupboard where the cans are could stand a good cleaning, there were no trash bags in the home. We broke one wine glass. There is an ant problem in the kitchen and living room. There was something sticky on the floor in the room with the two double beds.Just thought they might like to know those things. I love the feedback from our guests

Great place on the water
We had a fantastic time. The house is big and open, with the harbor in view from almost anywhere downstairs (and the bedrooms). It's directly across from the channel to the larger harbor, so you can sit on the deck and watch the ships go by. Highly recommended

Great location, fell short of expectations
Amenities listed
1. Barbecue was filthy & propane tank was empty, costing us an additional money spent.
2. Washer & dryer were full of unknown clothing.
3. There was not enough toilet paper or trash bags provided. We had to purchase more.
4. Fireplace did not function.
5. Cleanliness of place was sub (had to clean upon arrival)
6. Trash cans were full & had limited space
Additionally, when we tried postponing The dates (due to Covid threat/ concerns)we were never able to get a response via phone/email. For the amount of money we spent we are very disappointed.

Great Location, patio views are the Best !
Felt like home, and having access directly to the water was amazing. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out but we always came back to the massive family table in the kitchen area to eat or play games. We will be back for sure!!

Nice home with lots of space for my large family in a nice neighborhood. Awesome location for water activities such as boating, paddle boards & kayaks (not included).

Property old, run down and not in great working condition.
We arrived to many cleanliness issues including non-functioning dishwasher. Coffee pot and toaster filthy. Sheets and pillowcases had black hairs. A couple of towels had dried blood stains. Loose floorboards on deck and a nosey neighbor who made it clear she was watching that we followed "curfew". Made us all uncomfortable. Construction every morning starting at 7 am on other side. Not a relaxing experience for a vacation home. Very disappointing.
