Super value for your money. I love the fact that no A-C but fan is normal here. I hate A-C. It’s like sleeping on an air

Friendly clean place for reasonable money

Very friendly stuff! The room was very clean and equipped with everything we needed- very well working A/C, fan, fridge… water was provided daily and room was cleaned and equipped with new towels every other day. The garden is beautiful and the beach could be seen and reached with a few steps from our bungalow. Everything you need- a small supermarket, massage, ATM, diving centers, multiple restaurants are only a few steps outside the resort on the street. The price is VERY reasonable for what you get! No luxury resort, but a very solid and nice options for people who want a good and clean accommodation in great environment without paying a fortune. The stuff is super sweet and helpful, so is the family running the place. Would definitely come again! We wanted to stay two nights, made it four, because everything was so nice!

the wifi is unusable in the room I was given. seriously works like 1/4 of the time, going in an out. wouldn’t stay here if you need stable wifi

We enjoyed it :)

The manager was very friendly and the resort is right at the beach. it was a comfortable stay, with aircon and hot water. We had a nice breakfast at Coco Beach, just around the corner, each morning.

It wasn’t as good value for money as most places we stayed. Also, not the resort’s fault of course, but just to note that the bay isn’t great for swimming in.

Amazing place to stay in Koh Tao

Right on the beach, quiet place, very comfortable and with super friendly people. It was my home for couple of months and I will be back

Wonderful place. The owner was extremely helpful and kind. It was a quiet laid back beach that's great for relaxing. Also dive shops close. Highly recommend Ihasia diving.

Good option to chill.

Overall a nice place. It's somewhat far from the town where all things happen but it has a nice walk distance beach. If you stay here you better rent a motorbike. It has 1-2 nice cafes on walking distance just in front of the beach as well.

It was somewhat far from the main town. It doesn't have a wardrobe for clothes. And the shower it may be too cold sometimes (I knew it didn't have hot water ofc).

Will Return to Tropicana

Hotel is in a nice and calm part of Koh Tao and on the beach. The room we were in was comfortable with AC. The owners are very helpful and kind. We talked to them everyday and they were always making sure we were ok. Free taxi to pier on the day we left was super helpful.

They are working hard to bring the hotel back to it’s pretty COVID status. So some amenities like the restaurant are not open probably because of lack of staff. Understandable plus there are many options next to the hotel for food.

Near the beach. Room was clean. All rooms have a balcony. Snorkels etc are free to borrow.

Lovely stay

Great location right on the beach. Very friendly staff. Lovely spacious room with terrace area. Can borrow face mask and snorkel for free and book boat trips from the reception. Short walk to lovely restaurants.

- Balcony - Friendliness of staff and manager - Availability of the manager on the Booking chat - One sheet per person in the bed, not just one blanket for two

- Very small bed for two - No shower area so water everywhere in the bathroom

Excellent!!

Pretty much everything! The only thing was that the beds were a bit hard, and in the first room I had it was a bit too hot with just the fan (not huge problem). Rooms are clean, comfortable and decent size. Location is great if you are okay with being far from the centre of town. However there are delcious restaurants very close to the hotel (with many vegan options too), and the beaches are much more beautiful than the centre of town. The beach in front of the hotel is gorgrous! Small and peaceful with cute restaurants along. There is a tour shop very close to the hotel where they will be able to drive you to town for 150 baht. Very kind people. And last but not least the staff are so wonderful. So kind and helpful, and made it so easy for me to change to a different room. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

the bungalows are really nice and ours has been perfect for a couple.

it’s really noisy. as our bungalow was located next to the street we could hear every cat passing by. but you get used to it… all in all the bungalows are poorly soundproof and sound wise it feels more like a tent than a house.
