Plantations at Princeville, located within the Princeville Resort on Kauai's lush North Shore, is a beautiful place to relax and unwind. This complex, which overlooks the Makai Golf Course just steps away from a jogging path, features such shared amenities as a swimming pool, a hot tub, a fitness center, and a grilling area. You'll be just a few minutes from the St. Regis (one mile), charming downtown Hanalei (four miles), and all of the beautiful beaches that the North Shore has to offer. The Princeville Shopping Center is within walking distance as well. Nearby activities include horseback riding, golf, parasailing, hiking, zip line adventures, and helicopter rides. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. This rental is managed by Vacasa Vacation Rentals of Hawaii LLC. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Had to give it a 4 star because of the patio facing the road but we knew that when we reserved it! Otherwise it was a 5!

PROS:
-Great location
-Garage stall was a plus
-The beach chairs, towels etc... was a great addition
-Spacious and a lot of natural lighting
-The view was nice
-Working central air
CONS:
-The door code provided did not work. Had to call Vasca customer service for assistance. They provided the key lock box code to use the physical key to get in.
-The beds are HARD. Not firm. HARD and uncomfortable.
-The pillows were musty and smelled of the previous renters or that they have not been washed.
-The pillows were not comfortable. They were worn in and flat.
-The master toilet seat was broken and in every use it would slide around and move. Because of this, we did not use it and had to use the bathroom on the other side of the condo.
-The white towels were stained with yellow coloring.
-The couch was slightly broken as it sunk in.
-The busy main road is right in front of the patio, so constant sounds of cars driving by making it not so relaxing.
-The cleaner entered the property 10 minutes before checkout time while we were still there with one knock without waiting and letting themselves in. Uncomfortable and not OK.
Overall, there are comparable rentals nearby in the same price range that I wish I would have gone with instead of this rental due to the busy road noise, hard bed, and easy fixes that were overlooked by management in turn creating a bad experience for our honeymoon.

The property was great. Had breakfast on the lanai each morning. Beautiful landscaping and fun birds joined us each day.
One problem, we had to call the neighborhood security twice as the upstairs residents had a loud party until 1:30 AM on Christmas Eve and Christmas morning. They were responsive and not really the fault of the condo owner but worth noting.

The condo was perfect! The location was great and the view of the mountains every morning was amazing. The condo had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Lots of cooking wear and dishes. We used the beach towels, chairs, cooler and umbrella. It is a five star rating!

The home itself was clean and spacious and very well priced for the value it brought to our trip!! We especially loved the mountain and golf course views from the living room and backyard. It was well located and felt very safe and quiet.
The only issue we had was during our check-in — the smart lock on the door was having issues where the bolt would not unlock even though we were using the correct code. It took a while to get through to Vacasa customer service, but eventually they were able to give us another code to a lockbox with the spare key, and we had to use that to get in and out of the property since the smart lock was malfunctioning.

Delightful Stay… beautiful area and condo, well appointed, equipped and super clean. Views of the golf course and mountains were wonderful. No need for alarm clocks as chickens serve as your morning wake up. Beach chairs, cooler, and umbrellas were a bonus. Would definitely stay again. Every beach and little town were what you want from a Hawaii vacation. Prepare for an amazing and unforgettable visit.

The place is beautifully furnished, clean and the location and view is prime. The internet was excellent and it was a nice place to stay for a month in Kauai. The fitness center and pool were great and added to our stay. The second bedroom did not have air and it got warm for sleeping, even when we kept blinds closed each day. Also, we were prepared the the road noise in back from previous posts, but were not prepared from the very loud noise from just walking from upstairs neighbors and outdoor conversations from next building neighbors when they were out on their decks and we were trying to sleep in the master bedroom, windows closed, late at night and early in the mornings. Overall, the place had more positives and Princeville is a great place to be!

Our rental met all of our needs & was very clean & comfortable. Our only complaint was the road noise when sitting in the patio but that would not deter us from renting this propert again. It has been well maintained & the managers are very responsive when needed.

Location and property itself were terrific. Well appointed. Easy access with code rather than "keys". Beautiful and very comfortable.
Pool and fitness facilities were good and a short walk from this location.
Note there are no restaurants nearby, though a short drive to Princeville with Foodland grocery store and a few restaurants there. Overall I would definitely book this home again.

Great bathrooms, kitchen and roomy inside.
The outside lanai faces the main road, which is only 20 feet away and noisy. On the upside the view of the spectacular golf course and mountains is fabulous. So, if you aren’t particularly bothered by the constant traffic noise, this is a great choice. Vacasa does a good job managing and are very responsive.

The plantation at Princeville property met and exceeded all of our expectations!! The view of the golf course and mountains was gorgeous. It was in walking distance to Queen’s bath. We enjoyed playing tennis at the golf club. It was close to princeville shopping center and a short drive to Hanalie bay. The property itself was clean and had every single amenity we could possibly imagine. It was lovely. The A/C was wonderful too. We would definitely stay here again!!!

I appreciated the nice welcome gift that was waiting for me too! The unit was large and the master bed was very comfortable. The only con is the lanai backing up to the main road, but the views of Makai's 18th hole and mountain backdrop made up for it. Road noise died down by 6p so the night was very quiet which is quite the change from my daily city life. I will definitely stay again!

Great place! Thanks! Only thing was confused by key lockbox vs keypad on door. Wasn't able to get into the lockbox itself but didn't need it in the end. The place itself was absolutely fantastic though. Thank you so much!

Our lanaii faced the mountains for great views all day, including an unrestricted view of the sunset. There are very few lanaiis set this well.
