Most terrible experience ever!!

The place is very close to Nam Cat Tien National Park. Only 200m away from the main gate.

The service was terrible. When I arrived at the hotel, I firgured out that my room was taken by other walk-in guests. I accepted to change the room even twice, but when I was in the room and a family just came to my room and ask it back as they said the hotel has arranged it for them (what??). And the worst part was that the hotel offered me the worse and cheaper room than the room I booked, but they want to charge me the same amount with my original room. Eventually I couldn't get the room I have booked, and at the same time I was cheated by the hotel owner for getting more money from me :).

Lovely family and close to national park.

The hosts were so welcoming and friendly. They communicated with us via Google translate. The location is ideal, it’s so close to the entrance of national park. We enjoyed sitting on the hammock on the balcony, reading a book and watching the chickens walk by.

At night it was really hard to sleep because we could hear squeaking and gnawing in the walls/underneath the lodge or on the roof (it was hard to figure out where it was from) but maybe this is part and parcel with being close to the national park

Amazing stay with Truyen's family

The family who runs the resort are truly amazing. They made us feel at home. Accomodated all our needs and they were very friendly and attentive during our whole stay. We had perfect conversations with google translate. :) The food is also delicious. I would come back anytime, hope to see Truyen and her family again. It is also very close to the National park. 100% recommended.

I enjoyed the stay with the host's hospitality. I feel like home.

The place is run by a family who shows a lot of care and attention to the guests. The lady wife is very sweet and a very good cook too! The little daughter Phuong is very sweet, helpful and attentive to our needs. The little son Duc is very flexible in helping us swapping the room without extra charge. The father was staying up till 3am to wait for us to arrive. The fruits (pomelo, coconut, orange, etc.) are mainly from the family garden, they are so fresh, tasty and cheap! Can't ask for more hospitality from them.

The neighbor homestays can make loads of noise from time to time (karaoke at night, loud breakfast in the morning...).

Exceptional

The lodge was cute and spacious, with a nice terrace. The lodge is run by a very kind and friendly family. We arrived really late, and they were kind to ask if we had had dinner, and helped us find out how/where to get into the national park, which is located less than 5 min walk from the lodge. They were also very flexible and drived us 2 hours to catch a bus to our next destination (we payed a bit), and waited with us for an hour to make sure we got on the bus.

Very good

We chose this location because it's on the edge of Cat Tien National Park. The staff was very friendly and more than willing to help us. We have had a pleasant stay.

Biking with SGS friends 2022- Nam Cat Tien

Impressive bungalows. Low price but delicious smoothies , drinks and foods. Drinks and foods can be served right at the bungalow. Biking in Nam Cat Tien jungle brought a lot of fun, memorable, enjoyable , and relaxable for our group 5 people.

The Bungalow was very nice and interesting to stay but cleaning was not so good. If the cleaning had been done better , then it would have been a perfect choice to stay in Nam Cat Tien. Staff are very kind and friendly.

A lovely place in lovely surroundings

The owner was very friendly and happy to have guests. The food was good and with decent price.

The cold shower in the morning (it gets better in the afternoon though) And I’d have like the lights off night time to admire the stars.

An excellent two nights. We will definitely return.

In the end, we moved from the Rice Straw option to one of the riverside bungalows (part of Green Bamboo - same place). This was an excellent decision. The staff at Green Bamboo were super helpful, too.

We have no complaints except perhaps to say that the Rice Straw rooms are on the river is not really true - they are round the back.

Nice view. Great service. Super friendly staffs. Great local food. Resonable price.

Actually the Mud-Lodge was amazing in terms of design n ultility. However, due to the roof materials made of cement combined with metal wires, during day times from 10am-5pm, the room is very hot even though I turned the AC to only 16°C. It just didnt work. Therefore I believe they should think of another way to solve the problem by using heat-proofing wool to apply underneath the cement cover, and perharps add more layer of wood to prevent the heat of day times. Just an opinion from a designer myself to improve in case what I said was correct.

Excellent time

it was our first time in Cat Tien Park. The Host is really friendly and kind to show us everything like food in restaurants and must visiting places in Park. The room seem like the pictures on Booking with necessary items in room. We definitely come back Rice straw Green lodge...
