We ran out of water and electricity

The location was great

The flat is not really as it appears on booking, we rented it thinking it had a living room, and it did not. We stayed 4 days because we couldn't cancel, otherwise we would have gone to the first one. The second day we woke up without water, the third day without electricity and without water, we couldn't take a shower, the water came out brown when they managed to make it work. The flat was a bit dirty, there was no sheet to cover you with, you just had a duvet without a cover. We stayed later in another hotel and the truth is that it was much better than this one.

Great room for its price

The location is perfect especially if it's your first time visiting as it's 1 min walking from the 'Mamsha', and most of the known restaurants are around u. Also, the owner is very friendly and extremely helpful. The room was clean and everything went perfectly. I had a great stay. Thank you!

very cheap stay, but you get what you pay for…

the location was good, beach was 1-2 minute walk. also our hotel room was really big, kitchen (but dirty), 2 rooms and balcony! I really never leave bad reviews, because I hate to ruin the reputation of a business… but this place definitely needs renovation.

so this one time I’m about to take a shower… I go to the bathroom, I take one of my socks off… I look at the door and I see THE BIGGEST COCKROACH I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE 🪳 and don’t get me wrong, I have seen gigantic monster New York City cockroaches 🪳👹 but this one was just so huge and fat! I am a man but I even I kinda got scared because this is definitely not something that I was expecting to see… there is a big hole with electricity wires in the bathroom, I guess that’s where he came from… every time we went to the bathroom after this situation, we would be scared it would come back 👺 The condition of the hotel is bad, it’s dirty, not clean. we had 2 rooms in our hotel, in 1 room the MIRROR WAS BROKEN….. like come on. the charger plugs were horrible and Wi-Fi would barely work. I don’t recommend

The location and some clean sheets. The style of the balcony.

I messages to ask if it was sure that we got twin rooms and we were told before arrival that it would be fine. But when we arrived we were put in a different bigger place with two rooms, because we were told that our room wasn't available, and we were fine with that. Unfortunately my room wasn't clean, dust everywhere and dirty windows, and no lights working. The blankets smelled from other people so I asked for another sheet.. After calling the manager who claimed to be in Cairo, we went out for a few hours to give his cleaners time to clean and when we came back they hadn't done anything and when they finally came they used newspaper and a spray bottle, and one cleaner used the Arabic word for "crazy" and the other one laughed at my frustration. Also they were repainting and had left a new outside our door and did nothing to tidy it up. Please see picture. As we thought it was ok after the cleaning we decided to stay another night and then we were told we had to pay 40% more and that no other room was available. I tried to explain why this was unreasonable considering that we hadn't gotten any compensation the hours we waited for it to be cleaned, but then the manager told me that other places in Dahab were a lot dirtier so I should be happy. I told him that I've stayed in 7 different places in Dahab throughout the years and what he said was just wrong. Being an Airbnb host in Egypt myself I thought his attitude towards me was unacceptable, but typical how I'm treated as a European blonde and small framed woman. However, a host for Booking.com with international guests should be more professional.

The one and only good thing I can say about Lite House Appartement is the location.

1.,contacted host about our arrival time 23:00 to 24:00. Answer was "I will be there" - we arrived at 23:00 and nobody to find. Phoned number none picked up the call.... I had to wait and search 30 minutes and try then if some room is unlocked to find our booked and prepaid apartment. 2., Appartement is completely run down place which looked to me more like a storage room. A foldable bed was just at the entrance, but this was completely unnecessary because there no space in all the apartment to unfold it in case it would have been needed. Entrance and so called apartment is really dirty with dangerous appliances like uncovered electric sockets and broken mirror. 3., no towels, no toiletpaper, no sheet for blanket (extremely unhygienic) There was 1 plate and 1 soup plate, some unhygienic pots and pans in the kitchen. 4., paid 44 USD for 2 persons for that! I travel quite often to many countries but don't remember to get a near close bad value for money deal.

Perfect location, spacious studio and decent host.

The host is decent and helpful. The location is so central and practical. Very obvious how clean the place is unlike many places in Dahab.

Because it's central so at night if you sleep early you might hear some noise from the street. Other than that, all is well.

Very good

Lite House is nice place in the middle of busy part of Dahab. Close to the shops and the sea. The stuff is very nice and helpful. They even allowed me to check in very early in the morning. If u are looking for nice place in Dahab I may recommend to choose Lite House!

Nice Location, clean and very close to the beach

I arrived early Property owner phone number was closed I sent him message on booking and I had to wait 3hours until he messaged me working number. So the number he shared in Booking.com doesn't work anymore

Exceptional location, great value for money

- This is one of the best locations you can stay in in dahab, it’s 1 minute walking from the sea and mamsha, the german bakery and many supermarkets are a few steps away. There is a taxi stop right in front of the building. - the price is great for an apartment in such location -the beds are comfy -it’s pet friendly, we had 2 dogs and it was pretty comfy for them too -the apartment has 2 wide balconies - Desoky was very nice and he helped address any issues we had. He did his best to make our stay as good as possible. For example when one of the ACs wasn’t working he brought us a portable one and the issue was solved

- the photos provided are for 4 different apartments, so make sure to ask them to send you the exact photos of the apartment you are booking. So you know how your apartment is gonna look like exactly, since we were surprised that ours doesn’t have a living room and that the photo of sofas are from another apartment. Desoky got us a sofa bed tho to compensate for that. - the sofa bed was not comfy - the shower head keeps changing the water temperature while in use which made it hard to take a proper shower -the tap stops pouring water from time to time and we had to wait a bit till it’s back.
