all in all, this house was everything I needed it to be and more.

I do not like to write reviews, I despise it actually. so now that this time has elapsed this long, I figure it is time - so here goes … it was very cozy and the family that stayed were very pleased with the accommodations. The back porch, yard and sunsets were extraordinary. One of the family members brought their service animal - I had not been made aware of that. I immediately contacted the owners with proof of the service dog credentials. They were quick to respond that it was alright. The stay was to accommodate family and a handful of friends to attend a celebration of life for my late husband who died last March 2021. it was a lovely space to share with family the wonderful person my husband was in life. it brought peace and comfort to his family for one last goodbye. we left the property as we would want someone to leave our homes so there would be no reason to not receive a refund of the cleaning deposit - unless they do not do that..

The refrigerator leaked out the bottom so we had to keep mopping that up. I’m sure it has been remedied by now. I booked this house twice because I got the first dates wrong. I booked with two different booking companies. i was able to cancel the first due to my left brain being so exhausted that my right brain said, yep those dates look fine’. nope it wasn’t. so after a few hours on the phone and getting the approval of the owners to move forward with the correct dates (during the same month), I was ready to plan the rest of the event. after several conversations (texts) with the owners, I was informed that I would be charged $30 per head for any person that was not a guest staying at the house. that floored me because I had not read that anywhere in the contract or description. I informed the number I thought would show but only a few attended the services. the rest were on Zoom because they could not attend in person. this was just another stress I wasn’t prepared for.

The actual physical location. (Near the lake) also the large patio.

The power was out for several hours in one portion house, this affected the Wi-Fi and therefore we were unable to watch television and the kids were unable to play video games. The power outage also forced us to grill in the dark. Not to mention the grill was a fire hazard, as there was no drip pans and a part of the bottom was missing. We then noticed that the missing piece of the grill was in the outside trash bins that were already 3/4 full when we got there. Several room were missing remote controls. In one of the bedrooms the string was siding for the ceiling fan and therefore couldn’t turn the fan off. After several hours of being in the dark. Two gentlemen showed up with a grill, which was of no use to us because it was too late and they also fixed the power outage. Considering that I paid $2000 plus for two days it was definitely not worth the money. And honestly, although I loved the view and enjoyed the patio, I would not stay at this property again.
