Summary: This superbly decorated 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment features polished oak timber floors, luxe Coco Republic furnishings and a balcony with views of Port Philip Bay and West Gate Bridge. Situated in the new “GEM” complex across from Point Gellibrand Coastal Heritage Park, the apartment has a secure car-space and access to the building gymnasium. It’s just 2 kilometers from Williamstown Beach and an easy walk to the Royal Yacht Club of Victoria, Wiliamstown Botanic Gardens and train station. Enter this beautifully designed apartment into a spacious open plan kitchen/living/dining area with oak timber flooring and reverse cycle air-conditioning. The kitchen comes equipped with a Miele 4-burner gas cooktop, under-bench oven, microwave, full-sized refrigerator, Miele dishwasher and stone benchtops. The living/dining area has a ‘Smart’ TV, plush leather sofa, marble coffee table and nautical themed design touches reflecting its coastal location. A round marble table dining setting seats up to 4 people. This living/dining area flows though to a balcony with views of Port Philip Bay and the lights of the West Gate Bridge at night. A stylishly appointed bedroom has a queen bed, generous storage space and floor-to-ceiling windows with block-out blinds. The ultra modern bathroom features stunning tile work and a large, frameless glass shower recess. A separate laundry area includes a washing machine and dryer. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: * An additional $40 will be charged to your total if a check-in happens after 8 pm, and we require your arrival time as the Concierge does not live on site. * Have you got a baby or an infant traveling with you? We're happy to arrange the hire and delivery of baby items, subject to availability, with excellent package rates for two or more items. Please note that we require a minimum of two days notice, with full payment completed before the items are delivered. * A mandatory full clean of the property and complete linen change will be done every 4 weeks and added to your total booking amount for any booking longer than a month. This will be added to your total amount and processed separately. * Please note that this property has been specifically catered for short-term rentals and is not a hotel. Guest Access: Concierge to meet guests on site for induction of property and access. The Neighborhood: Melbourne’s first port settlement, Williamstown is filled with maritime museums and colonial landmarks like Timeball Tower and Fort Gellibrand. Yachts dock alongside tall ships at Gem Pier, while the convict-built Nelson Place now houses craft shops and restaurants. The area’s southern shore has tranquil parks and wetlands, and sandy Williamstown Beach is a popular family destination in summer. Near the apartment you’ll find the Titanic Theatre Restaurant, Seaworks Maritime Precinct. Commonwealth Reserve, Royal Yacht Club of Victoria, with Wiliamstown Beach and Scienceworks interactive museum a short drive away. There’s also easy access to the buzz of the Melbourne CBD with its myriad of shows, theatre, arts and restaurants. Getting Around: The apartment comes with parking, but if you prefer public transport, there are several bus services within a few minutes’ walk and the Williamstown train station is just a 5 minute walk away, with regular services to Melbourne CBD. Ferries and cruises to South Gate and St Kilda depart from Gem Pier, an 11 minute walk from the apartment. Other Things to Note: * Due to strict no noise no party policies in Strata buildings or local council by laws we will be enforcing the NO PARTY NO NOISE POLICY - This will mean that we will be able to force an eviction if these terms are breached. If this is he case we hold the right to hold on security deposit and booking amount for compensation for the purpose of any damage, missing keys and potential penalties from the body corporate or local government authority.

This was an unusual time to stay during the earlyish days of Covid019, but the stylish apartment and entire modern apartment building were scrupulously clean. I was working from the apartment most of the time and only wish I'd had more time to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view and fresh air!
