Nestled in State of Oaxaca, this attractive house for $441 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Casa Santa Cruz is beautifully renovated and ready to host your next vacation. The house has been completely renovated including the the pool, palapa and upper sun deck! Explore Huatulco and the beautiful Oaxaca coast while staying in your own private house. Relax listening to the sounds of the nearby National Park and jump into the refreshing backyard pool - Welcome to Paradise! The house has plenty of space to relax poolside yet is a quick walk to the main area of Santa Cruz which is the heart of the Huatulco area. There you have plenty of beach side restaurants and shops to enjoy. The house is located in sector F, approximately 100 meters from the hotel Binniguenda. The main floor has the living room that overlooks the backyard & swimming pool, as well as a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, bathroom and laundry area.. Upstairs, there are 4 spacious bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. All 4 bedrooms are equipped with AC & ceiling fans. 3 of the bedrooms have views of the park across the street & 1 room has windows on both the park and pool side of the house. Three of the rooms have queen sized beds. the 4th room has 3 single beds. In total it’s approximately 2100 sq ft in size Centrally located yet only a couple blocks from the national park, its a 5 to 10 minute walk to the Santa Cruz park, home of the Saturday Organic market & Cafe Huatulco. The park is surrounded by restaurants, shops and is beside the marina. Less then a 10 min taxi ride away is the small town of Crucecita, which has many more shops, parks & restaurants as well as a large grocery store. Everything is within walking distance or a short taxi ride away. All taxi fares in the area are very affordable. Santa Cruz beach is in a sheltered bay and is one of the best swimming beaches in the area. You have the choice of ocean beach or your own private pool, the best of both worlds! Huatulco is in the border of Sierra Madre mountains and has 9 bays with 32 pristine beaches to explore. It is a relaxed destination, that has an authentic Mexican feel compared to other resort destinations in the country. There is a a focus on sustainability and environmentally friendly practices throughout the region. In 2005, Huatulco was the first community in the Americas to be awarded the Green Globe International Certification as a sustainable tourist area. To get to Huatulco: From Canada in the winter season there are many direct & charter flights from Canada; WestJet, Air Canda, Air-Transat, are a few companies operating seasonal routes. From within Mexico It's a 1 hour flight from Mexico City, options include: Vivaaerobus, Volaris, Magnicharters and Aeromexico. Monterrey and Tijuana also offer direct flight options. From the US There are direct flights from Dallas on American Airlines as well Chicago on Volaris Airlines. You can you use the pedestrian bridge in San Diego and access direct flights from the Tijuana airport as well. From the airport to the house it is a 20 min taxi ride.

My friends and I enjoyed our stay at the house! We had everything we needed to make our week in Huatulco comfortable and enjoyable. Norma was very good at answering questions and communicating with me before our stay, as well as during our stay if we had questions. The house is on a fairly busy street, but there was not a lot of traffic noise at night, and the neighbours were quiet for the most part, with the exception of one night when the neighbours behind us and over one, had a 'fiesta'. Santa Cruz beach was only a 5-10 minute walk away, which was great, and when we wanted to go into La Crucecita (10 minutes away by taxi for $35 pesos), or to another beach, it was very easy to get a taxi by waving one down right outside the house. Taxi prices were fair and consistent. There are restaurants and stores within walking distance of the house as well. The only issue worth mentioning, which we have shared with Norma, is the address of the house needs to be clearer on VRBO. On the way to the house from the airport, our taxi drivers were confused and had a hard time finding it. Members of my group arrived on 2 different days and it happened both times. The area is divided into sectors, so the sector letter to identify the neighbourhood is a key piece of information needed to locate the house. Overall, Huatulco is a lovely part of Mexico! The weather was fantastic, the pool was nice and cool after a hot day at the beach, and all the people we met were super friendly.

Loved our stay. Would have been nice for air conditioning in living area. November is very hot. Thank goodness for the pool. It was a 10+ The pool was cleaned twice a week. Loved having the pool. Easy to get a taxi. Easy to walk to the beach and restaurants. Place was very clean. It’s a lovely place. Would stay again.

The property and photos were spot on for the listing. It is a beautiful home in a peaceful and safe area. We were just a short walk from the beach, restaurants and shops. Many taxes also pass up and down the road so it was an easy option as well. Norma was super quick and responsible throughout our trip. In the evenings it was nice to relax by the private pool or lay in the hammock with the kids. We loved Huatulco and will definitely be back!

Enjoyed our stay, Norma was great in staying in contact with us and as well as helping with anything we needed. Great location and no problem getting a taxi, as they go by the house frequently. Only complaint, are the neighbours dogs. Not at night but every morning for a couple of hours. Not much you can do about that. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time in the house and enjoyed all Huatulco activities! House is clean and has all amenities you need for your staying. AC in the dorms is a plus! Our host Norma kept us in the loop to make sure we had what we needed. Highly recommended.

We loved the house and it’s location. The kitchen was well supplied with dishes and appliances (coffee grinder, blender, coffee maker and toaster). There was also laundry soap, dish soap and a good supply of toilet paper (I mention these three things as I have stayed in rentals that did not provide these things). Norma was a great host who did responded promptly to our inquiries and she allowed us a later checkout (2:00) which accommodated our flight departure times. Check-in was with a property manager with very little English so that was a bit challenging but I am striving to learn Spanish better. This was our first time renting outside of a condo complex and we were unprepared for the neighbourhood dogs barking at 4:30/5:30 in the morning (pretty much daily). Our solution to that was to then sleep with the windows closed and run the air conditioner but it took three early sleepless mornings to figure that out. Overall, a fabulous place...if you sleep with ear plugs or have a sleep machine this place would be no problem.
