Tout était parfait: le cadre avec un très beau jardin, une magnifique piscine balinaise et une chambre confortable, avec de délicates attentions.
Le petit déjeuner est délicieux et joliment présenté. Ambiance calme et cosy.
Personnel très gentil et attentionné avec un manager Antoine chaleureux et passionné.
Tout est réuni pour passer un séjour inoubliable.

Besonders gut gefallen hat uns an THE GOOD LIFE:
- die herausragende Gastfreundlichkeit und der freundliche Service von Antoine und seinem ganzen Team
- herrliche Frühstücksauswahl (guter Kaffee, frisch gepresste Säfte, Obstsalat, Eier, Avocadotoast bis hin zu Pancakes und French Toast ..)
- sauberer, großer Pool (inkl. kleinem Bereich für Kinder)
- moderne Zimmer mit täglichem Roomservice (bequeme Betten, sauberes Bad, AC, TV mit Netflixzugang, Safe für Wertgegenstände, Handtücher, Mückenschutz, etc.)
- Strand und diverse Wassersportaktivitäten wie Kitesurfing fußläufig zu erreichen (wir empfehlen unbedingt einen Spaziergang von Bain Boef bis Pereybere!)
Alles war wundervoll, selbst auf Sonderwünsche zum Geburtstag wurde toll eingegangen :-)

Everything was top. Antoine has created a great place! The gardens are stuning with a Balinese swimming pool. The room and premises are top , great design, beautiful decor! Breakfast is top with loads of healthy options. Loads of info provided around the area. It was just amazing ! A place to relax from the crowded hotels. A more private settings. Thank you Antoine, you were very kind to us.
Just a little suggestion please,
Room number 1 has very restricted view of the garden (It should be a little bit cheaper to compensate ) I recommend to ask for rooms numbers 2 and 3, they have partial views of the garden and swimming pool. Otherwise our time in the lodge was top !

Logement très confort, parfaitement équipé avec mise à disposition de serviettes de piscine et de plage. La chambre est bien agréable avec une grande terrasse qui a été appréciée lors du confinement pendant le dernier cyclone. Les petits déjeuners sont très bons et variés et tout le personnel est très gentil. L'extérieur est également magnifique.

We very much enjoyed staying at the "good life". The breakfast was fantastic— very healthy and delicious, and I was looking forward to it since the day before! The atmosphere, especially the pool and sunbeds, made for incredibly relaxing days. Plus, the host put so much heart into everything, which made the experience even better.
I highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway! Was definitely the best stay in Mauritius for us:)

Antoine ist ein fantastischer Gastgeber, der sich individuell um seine Gäste kümmert und auch immer ansprechbar war. Egal ob Restaurantreservierungen, Restauranttipps oder Mietwagen - er hat uns immer mit einem Lächeln auf dem Gesicht geholfen. Aber auch der Rest des Personals war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, top! Zudem waren die Zimmer liebevoll eingerichtet und der tolle Garten und Pool lädt zum Verweilen ein. Das Frühstück war zudem das Beste auf der gesamten Reise und speziell die Pfannekuchen waren genial!
Die Unterkunft ist doch etwas ab vom Schuss. Leider ist kein Restaurant zu Fuß zu erreichen und ein Mietwagen ist dringend erforderlich, da es abends in der Unterkunft keine Möglichkeit zum Essen gibt. Mit Mietwagen ist es kein Problem.

A little oasis which Antoine and his wife have built. We enjoyed our stay from the healthy and very tasty breakfast over an amazing service to the lovely rooms. Moreover, the hosts took time each morning to provide ideas about trips and things to see on the island.
As the resort has only 8 rooms, it’s very quite and peaceful. 🫶🏼

The mouth watering food, the friendly staff, the intimate feel, the beautiful setting. This is a really wonderful place and we didn't want to leave. The staff are very friendly and courteous and the rooms are super comfortable. We were glad we chose a room with air conditioning.
There's nothing really worth mentioning. There's occasional noise from passing cars but that's about it.

The Good Life is a quaint, cozy property in Cap Malheureux with chic and sustainable rooms, great amenities, and delicious breakfast. There are yoga mats in each room (which I took advantage of), cozy bed, and really anything you can think of. The host & staff are very friendly and accommodating. Antoine took the time to walk me through all of the activities both near the hotel and across the whole island, and sent several restaurant recommendations. To top it all off, I had a scuba dive on the day of check-out, and they were able to provide me with a late check-out so that I could come back and shower before leaving. I actually left my passport in the room when I departed and they were quick to reach out to me and made it easy for me to come back and pick it up. Would highly recommend!
It's pretty buggy on the property, so just be sure to bring bug spray and apply it generously. Also, there aren't a ton of restaurants within walking distance, but there are some that will send a free cab, but would recommend driving a car.

Amazing little resort! Very comfortable, absolutely spottless and clean; great healthy breakfast with homemade juices, fruit salads with fruits from the garden, homemade granola and marmelade; excellent service and very friendly staff; very welcoming hosts giving great tips and help at all times; cold water available 24/7 for refill into jars (plastic free place); pool is stunning, quiet and has comfortable beds; WIFI excellent at all times. I have absolutely nothing negative to say and would definitely and highly recommend this oasis.

The owners are very kind and responsive. They explain where to go and what to see and also provide a list of activities and contacts.
The breakfast is homemade and delicious, especially the french toast and the yogurt with granola.
The water in the pool has a very natural feeling, and there is no taste or smell of chlorine which makes swimming in it very comfy
If you are planning to spend some time in the north, i would definitely suggest booking some nights here.
Not really a fault of anyone, but the place is full of mosquitoes. Make sure to bring a repellent body spray.

They gave all the necessary information and good advice about the island. Staff and hotel owners are friendly and welcoming. There are many places to see on the island. My advice to travelers is to rent a car.

Breakfast is delicious, you can pick different foods each day acompanied by fresh juice and coffee. The internet works great. The stuff was incredibly amazing, so nice and friendly, the owner helped us with plenty of tips about Mauritius. The room is super dreamy, the backyard is extraordinary to relax. The pool is great too.

Staying at the Good Life was the best start into our holidays. Antoine and Estelle are so warm-heathy and caring and gave us so many helpful tips. The staff is super friendly and made our stay very pleasant (and the breakfast is amazing). Also the rooms and the garden with the pool is just incredible, clean and an atmosphere to relax in. We would 100% recommend staying there and will come back for sure.

The accommodation is just perfect: super nicely furnished, bright and modern rooms, beautiful grounds with beautiful plants and a great pool. The entire staff is very friendly. The breakfast was excellent. It was also great that we were super advised regarding excursions, a scooter was organized for us very uncomplicated and the owner also took care of our transfer to the accommodation and also to the next accommodation.
We felt very comfortable from the first moment and did not want to leave the accommodation. It was by far the best of our Mauritius trip. This is, in addition to the points mentioned, also due to the attention to detail and the personality of the two owners.
