I drove here on Wednesday to be able to have a good night sleep as Thursdays was my first day at the new job. Upon arrival I realised the central heating wasnt working, all i had was a small electric heater in the room. Bear in mind that it was 0 degrees when i arrived even colder throughout the night. However the biggest issue is the noise. These are very old single glazed windows on the property. The property is located in the city center, right outside the flat there is a loading bay for lorries, which were being used all night. But even when people walked past the building and quietly talked coukd even hear it. I only managed to have about 2-3 hours sleep in 15-20 min intervals. Thankfully it was Wednesday night, hence the city centre wasn’t overly busy overnight. I strongly believe these flats are not suitable to accommodate anyone, due to mot being able to sleep. I would be surprised if i was the first person who complained about the noise. After I booked the accommodation I received the message saying i have to keep the noise down cos they have noise monitor in the room. If thats the case i strongly recommend to used it how much outside noise penetrating in the room. must be even worse on a weekend. Ps:Just by supplying earplugs would mitigate problem.

In a good location close to public transport and shops. Stayed one night before catching cruise. Small but convenient.

Could have done with a microwave.

The location is good and the price is fair but the property is not easy to access as entry codes are not provided early enough to allow us to receive them before departing from our home country. Having no internet access in the UK, it made it almost impossible to enter the hotel without the help of a kind stranger who had internet access.

We did not receive the room we booked. The replacement rooms were small and uncomfortable

Easy to access with codes sent to you. A working lift to take you to the relevant floor; clear signage of which floor you would need for your room. Plenty of disabled parking nearby.

The apartment was such a lovely,spacious layout with a desk bed kitchen and ensuite bathroom. Bed very comfortable. No extra charge for dogs. Close to carparks.

Expected noise from street but didn't expect Elivs and a classical singer within yards ...very loud,but would be great if fans😅

Das Zimmer an sich ist schön, man hat alles was man braucht. Die Lage ist sehr zentral, das war super.

Es war extrem heiß. Die Fenster waren nur mit einem Innenrollo versehen, der auch nicht wirklich abgedunkelt hat. Es gab keine Klimaanlage, nur ein Lüfter, der aber laut war, sodass man nicht schlafen konnte. Da das Zimmer eine Fensterfront hat, bei der die Sonne direkt reinscheint, ist eine Klimaanlage ein unbedingtes Muss. Es gab auch keine Möglichkeit, das Gepäck nach Checkout unterzustellen, was gerade in Southampton sehr schade ist, da es nicht einmal am Bahnhof Schliessfächer gibt.

Bed Noise

Tried called PS apartment no response unable recover a white color t-SHIRT with Australia2000 Olympic design.

There was confusion with email communication and not realising the door code was sent via WhatsApp. This could have been communicated better In advance as caused a lot of stress for elderly couple staying and trying to get into the property. Fortunately a resident opened the main front door and had a number to contact via phone as number we had went to ansaphone

They didn't mention signing a £100 deposit in the booking.com advert, I had to sign it before I could enter the building. If I didn't agree, I wouldn't have got my money back. Very sketchy. The apartment was disgusting, urine and blood on the walls, dust and smears all over the walls. Slept on top of the bedding after spraying dettol on them, there were stains and marks on them. There was faecal matter still in the toilet. As I had the dog with me, it would have been very difficult to find alternative accommodation at last minute. I emailed them pictures of everything and they just said they'd let the cleaners know. Everything is all old and shabby, desperate need of a paint job and new furniture. I can't believe the cheek of charging extra for the dog to stay and the £100 deposit and then THAT is where I had to stay. Safe to say I will NEVER stay here again.

The flat location fas great in city center.

The kitchen stove did not work, the bathroom drain was blocked and no way to open the window for fresh air and at was very warm during the day.

The property was very central and even though it was right in the city centre we weren’t kept up by any noise (either from outside or inside!)

The bathroom smelt absolutely foul!! It wasn’t too bad when we first arrived but when we woke up the next morning the smell was putrid!! I’d messaged the number we were advised to if we had any issues earlier on about an iron and received no reply so didn’t see any point in complaining.

Nothing satisfying. Fan doesn't work. Cooktop is oily. Sheets are not clean.

Location good but nosy but aware of that. Secure. Bed comfortable and shower good. Good selection of tea and coffee.

Lack of equipment and cleaning items if you did want to self cater. Perhaps needs to be made clearer eg no washing up liquid or tea towel. Left out the items we’d used because of that. Also need to make sure a body lotion isn’t left to use as a soap.

The shortage of my vacation, it would be nice if I could stay longer, however, it might not be easy to extend the stay in the same property.

Excellent location, room was large and bathroom was fine. Nice towels and toiletries. Communications from owners were clear and easy to understand.

Lack of equipment - no chopping knife or large bowls, for example. A microwave would have been nice. Windows were filthy.

Nice central location, easy to find and the information supplied for getting into the building and the room was clear, detailed and simple to follow. Room was clean and tidy. Bed was comfy. Room was cool and quiet overnight. Lift to all floors .

The fixtures and fittings were a little worn out with some damage evident from previous residents. No plug socket near the bed for charging phone. Minor details in the grand scheme of things.

A little tired decor and dirt on feature wall. Shower mastic had some mould but nothing major.

Had a lift. Walking distance to shops.

Loose stair tread dangerous. Dinning chair broken. Not enough cutlery for 2 guests. Could not get hot water for shower. Upgraded room ? would hate to think what the original booking was looked nothing like picture. No signage so difficult for taxi driver to locate.
