Good

We did a tour around Iceland and we stayed one night at Aska Modern Cabin. The cabin is situated in a perfect location near Myvatn lake. The reception is nearby and the crew is helpful and friendly. The cabin has all the facilities you need, even a small kitchen if you want do do your own cooking. And we could park the car really nearby.

Nice but expensive for what it is

Amazing location, great view on the volcano, the city, the church and the lake, if it's not foggy.

Quite small, the exterior needs renovation. More kitchen equipment and storage room would be appreciated. Very expensive for what it is, although those are the prices in Iceland....

Great modern cabin in the lake Myvatn area

Fantastic modern cabin, cosy, great location, fantastic breakfast, highly recommend. Loved the outlook onto the lava field, on the lake circuit and close to many attractions in the area.

I absolutely loved this cabin! It is very cute and has a nice kitchen and was really clean. The staff were very friendly as well!

Self check in at anytime would have been great! we were running late and had to cut out some activities in order to meet check in time.

A perfect stopover compact lodge.

Its a perfect compact home from home. It felt quite spacious for the size. they provide everything you would need on the go.

Just the surroundings could be nicer because it’s a camp site. I would suggest disposable slippers and a bin in the bathroom.

A perfect week in a perfect landscape and location.

Perfect location with a beautiful view on Myvatn and its surrounding mountains. Nice cosy little hut for those who like some more comfort than camping. All that I needed was there.

There was nothing that I did not like.

A very nice cabin not so well maintained, outrageously expensive.

good location

The cabin is the only one of his kind in a camping site. we arrived after a rainy day, completely wet, HALF AN HOUR before the formal opening of the reception. they made us wait un the car!!. there were maintenance issues with courtains, entrance door and electricity.

location, cozy and comfortable space, modern rustic style. great blackout blinds for sleeping. great kitchenette.

The staff was amazing about fixing the WiFi.

definitely not value for money. the location is certainly not as cool as it is made out to be. among other cabins in a campground.

Gorgeous Cabin, surrounded by other buildings.

The cabin itself is a piece of architectural design. is cozy and beautiful. Unfortunately the location ruins it.

The location where the cabin is very disappointing. One expects the cabin to be in a secluded location but unfortunately the place is a camping site and is surrounded by other cabins and larger building with toilets and stuff for the campers. The advertising pictures are just deceiving as the angles use for the taken the picture do not show any other cabin around it when in fact there is. Even from the single small window in the bedroom are you have a log cabin right across not even 20 feet apart. In my picture I also tried to hide the cabin in the back behind Aska cabin.

really cute and modern, in the middle of the snow. kitchen had good amenities so we made our own meals which was fun. staff were friendly and place was clean. we loved staying here, thank you so much

Don't stay here in the Summer!

Our experience here wasn't great but it wasn't really the host/cabin's fault. There were midges all over the place and everyone who dared to walk in the area was attacked. We were surrounded by them. It was impossible to open the windows and the cabin was too hot (at the time, it was 20°C outside, way too warm for Iceland) so it made our stay quite uncomfortable. The cabin is very nice on the inside (the photos don't lie) but don't think it's isolated because it isn't. I believe it's part of a campsite and there are other cabins around as well as people camping. The design of the cabin is very modern but it lacks functionality (we'd have to turn off lamps to plug in our phone chargers because other plugs were just too high and in weird places and the hangers were too weak to hang heavy items). The front door didn't close so it stayed open all night (not that that's an issue in Iceland but still). The bed was alright (could do with a nicer mattress). All in all, it was an okay place to stay but it's definitely overpriced.

Architecture Masterpiece

the hut is extraordinary and an experience for every architecture lover. The equipment leaves nothing to be desired. Everything was very clean. The location on the edge of the campsite is very nice and quiet. The staff were very friendly, the check-in is at the campsite.

Perfect place to stay. Modern, stylish house with nice view.

Very cosy, modern, stylish and well equipped house. The location is just perfect. Laundry extra paid. The staff was really helpful and kind. Great place to explore Myvatn lake.

Cute little cabin with fantastic views! Will comeback!

Really loved this place! Brand new little cabin in the Mývatn area in a beautiful and calm location. Beautiful view to Hverfjall, an explosion crater. Just a couple of minutes from the shop and from the Mývatn Nature Baths. Kitchen is well equiped and you can have your meals with a fantastic view. Big and confortable bed. Staff was wellcomimg and very helpful. Thank you so much for pulling my car out of the snow. :) Will come back in the future!
