The cottage is surrounded by U.S. National Park Service land, including the Yorktown Battlefields where George Washington secured America’s independence in 1781. Take a stroll to Riverwalk Landing or to the sandy beach at the edge of the York River and the Chesapeake Bay. You can even take a tall ship sailing cruise, bike miles of scenic historic trails or the Colonial Parkway, or hike or fly a kite on the battlefields. The Riverwalk area has many seasonal attractions that bring people to the waterfront every weekend. Nancy’s work is in the homes of thousands of collectors and often seen in magazines, decorator books, films, on Broadway and on television, as well as at Colonial Williamsburg, The Museum of American Folk Art, and the White House.
